The initial quote was $3500. We agreed to have the pickup date of 11/6. After the pickup was loaded, he and his drivers refused to provide any invoice whatsoever after loading. However, they did promise that the company was insured and would provide the invoice at the end , even though the truck was a uHaul rental box truck. They then promised that they would deliver to us on 11/11 in Los Angeles.
The scam was that he did not actually pick up the load. He brokered someone else to do so and did not inform us of who that would be. The company that did pick up the load was uninsured and ended up causing significant damages to our belongings. He and Kajoo refuse to answer our phone calls and take any responsibility of anything that has happened and deserves to be punished.
