I think I got involved in a scam. I located a home to rent on Zumper. The address is **** ******** **** ***** **** *****. I called 216-394-7081 regarding renting the property. I spoke to a man named Robbie. He told me to send payment by Chime. I sent a total of $750. $400 deposit. $250 for months rent and $100 to change the lock. I can no longer reach Robbie since I sent the money. My calls go straight to voice mail. I leave messages and texts. He does not call back or text. I emailed Robbie a photo of my drivers license. His email is robbiepute12proton.me The locksmith is Micheal Lundquist phone ************* I visited the property last Tuesday. I did not meet with anyone. I was given a code to unlock the door. I was there alone. I never signed a lease or rental agreement. I just reported this to the police. They are looking into it and will let me know.
