I received the same letter with the exact same instructions and a check $3,980.00,
Needless to say I will not be depositing the check. I'm glade I found out this was a scam before I lost out on money.

Hi, I received a email stating welcome to Zipcar, then sent a Postal envelope with a check and welcome not with instructions and a check for $3980.00, $1200 to keep for myself and $2780 for installer and decal when completed. Deposited check, it cleared then bounced after I took the $2780.00 out and mailed to installer and for materials because they stated something went wrong. Now, I’m $3900.00 in the whole with my bank.

I received a letter in the mail with a check in my name in the amount of $2,980. This was supposed to be because I qualified for the Car Wrap Advert program. I received instructions to send an email to [email protected] and a text message to 336-203 6503. acknowledging receipt. They will then authorize the check.

After that, I was asked to process/deposit the check in my bank and email/text the payment or slip confirmation to the email/phone indicated above.

They offered me to keep $600 for my first payment and set the rest $2,380 aside for the delivery and installation of the decal on my car.

Once the payment confirmation has been received, the paperwork and contract would be processed and delivered in person by the installation team.
