I am trying to sell a vehicle on Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. I believe the scammer found my phone number on my advertisement in Kijiji. The person, "Max", directed me to a website ("CV") to file a request for a vehicle history report. I directed the "buyer" to the Kijiji site where a Carfax report is linked in my ad. He insisted I use the "CV" website that he texted to me. I deleted and blocked the number. Sorry - I chose to delete it before I recorded the details of the website. This is the third such attempt to phish me since I listed the vehicle 2 weeks ago.

Other phone numbers used were: (310) 910 1846 (requesting an EV report at www.elitevinlab.com)

(581) 221 2744 (requesting a VR report at www.vortexreport.com). Both used almost identical text messages and questions.

This is the third such attempt to phish me since I listed the vehicle 2 weeks ago.

(587) 819 0442 via WhatsApp (requesting a CV report - sorry, deleted the thread before I noted the website).

Both used almost identical text messages and questions.
