- Brandon, MS, USA

Attempted to purchase two dachshund puppies from the website queenminidoxies.com. My husband texted with someone who was represented as Alana Sasser at phone number 609-339-7709. Was provided emails from the email address [email protected]. When they asked for payment, they asked for it through Zelle, using the email address [email protected]. She was specific that we add the puppies names in the reason/reference block, and asked for a two separate payments, one for $500 and the other for $498, one for each puppy. After we did that, we sent proof of payment, and then she said we would be getting info about the shipping soon. All during this time, they provided us details about the puppies, what type of food they were eating, etc.

Then we received emails from [email protected], asking us to confirm where we wanted the puppies shipped to (airport) and our local address. We were provided a Shipment ID of FP946178853. After confirming the shipment info, we received additional emails asking for payments to obtain insurance for the puppies and deposit on the carrier needed for them. We went back to the "breeder" and inquired about it, to which we were told that they had spoken with the carrier service, and that the money would be refunded after successful transport. They asked that the money for shipping, once again, be sent through Zelle, using the name Diondria Bates and email address of [email protected]. Two payments, once of $500 and the other of $450. After making these payments, we got additional emails telling us that there was a mistake made by the shipping company, and that those payments were for only one puppy, and we would have to pay more for the other. I asked for confirmation from the parent shipping company, and they provided a phone number of their company, 856-800-4220. I googled the phone number and found it listed on a website about fraudulent claims. So, I then asked for additional confirmation about the shipping company and was told that it was UShip. I then asked about a refund for shipping, and explained we would try other methods to get the puppies, and have not received any further emails.

We tried once again to get back with the seller, in hopes it wasn't a total loss and that there would be a slim chance that it was just the shipper frauding us, and inquired about in person pick up, and have received no further responses from them either.
