Had a message on my phone saying that this was Angela Torres calling in regards to a complaint that has been filed and that it was her last attempt to contact me before the complaint was actually filed to please return her call at 1-877-753-8851 I had that message on my phone twice today May 1st 2024.

I didn't give any personal information but did answer yes to a question on one of the calls, when they asked about my address. I normally don't answer yes to anything on the phone but was caught off guard. I received 2 phone calls within a few minutes time, both asking about my address and if I wanted to sell my house. I told them both no and not to call me back.

She said her name is Angela Torres calling in regards to a complaint this is my final attempt to contact to rectify the complaint before its files. Please contact 877-753-8851. This is what is left on my voicemail. When I called back they wanted me to verify my date of birth; social security number. I refused to they then got nasty said they dont have to give me any information.

A woman called me on my personal phone and asked for me by name. She then stated she was calling about a property at address and said you own this property correct? I said no. The call disconnected. I think I have been targeted by one of those say, yes, or say no scams.

I fell for his question asking if I was

(My first name) and I replied with (yes)

Immediately realized what was going on and hung up but had already answered yes

The caller had a foreign accent but the but the number was from CA. He called my company and asked for me by name. When I answered, he asked if he was speaking with “my name” and then hung up. I believe it’s the ‘say yes’ scam.

He immediately asked me “Is this (my name)?” I answered non yes questions until he hung up.

The woman that I talked to yesterday was a foreigner and I told her that under no circumstances do I qualify for Medicaid and she kept asking me questions about my husband she said by law they have to ask one of the questions was how many hours a week did he work then it was what was his pay rate and my husband kept telling her and I kept telling her that this was for me and that he did not need to be included because this stuff was for me not him and that he had it a while ago when he was a little kid growing up she then asked for pay stubs from my husband he told her no she kept persisting and saying that she needs this information and we both told her absolutely under no circumstances are we giving that kind of information. She said that I have until the end of January of next year and also I found a letter and it says that no members are obligated to provide any personal information or any information that will be shared with the state and federal agencies directly responsible for determining eligibility this is what the letter said

They called saying ive won 2.5 million dollars and a mercedes Benz. They were going to deliver it to me. I would just have to pay them $7500.

I received two verification codes from short code 74454. I noticed that the codes were underlined. I think green light that the crooks need is for someone to click the code/s. Although I did not click either code, I immediately filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). REMEMBER: NEVER CLICK ANYTHING IN AN UNSOLICITED TEXT OR EMAIL!

The number 15856987097 called and didn't leave a message when I called back I got this "Melissa" lady with an accent from either Japan or China.

Why did you call back? If you have even the slightest suspicion about a call, text or email, don’t click anything and don’t treat them in any manner that you would treat an acquaintance! Calling one back could open a channel of communication that would increase the likelihood that you could be scammed. Call people who you know, not Cybercriminals. Please use Common Sense!

We have been having a problem for a few years. Some company keeps calling wanting us to purchase drugs for Diabetes etc. They call from multiple states and multiple phone numbers. I block one number and then they call from another. We got NO MO RObo calls but it always rings once and it rings over and over for hours.

Now they are faxing prescriptions for pain meds, Lidocaine etc to my Doctor who then calls me to verify the fax. There is no name on the fax and the phone number is always out of order.

This should be illegal !!! the problem is we are dealing with some sort of ghost company, ghost phone numbers and we have no idea how to stop it. It should be illegal to fax prescriptions to my doctor without my consent

I don't know who to call or how to stop this.

Pitch for bathroom safety products

sales call petending to be returning my call. I hanged the phone up and called back hoping to tell someone to remove me and got a message to press one if I wanted to be removed from the call back list.

Do not call these criminals. Just file a complaint with the FTC or [email protected]. Do not give them a chance to have an open channel of communication!
