At the job, I kept getting this guy calling saying the service warranty on my printer was outdated and I needed to renew. He asked me for the printer's serial number. I knew this was a scam so I asked him which printer was he speaking about. He said "the color one". I said, they were all color. He paused. While he was thinking, I said, if my service warranty expired, you would have the serial number, make and model of the printer in question. He hung up. Two days later, another service printer company called asking for the same information and I told them to go find another company to scam and hung up. Have not received another call. I found out later that these scammers will get your printer information and send you a repair or warranty bill and threaten to take you to collections if you don't pay it. Watch out.
