We are receiving multiple daily calls from what Caller ID lists as area code 530. Actual numbers shown vary, along with ID information. Some calls have a name listed, sometimes "unavailable", most ID fields are simply blank. Calls seem to be from an auto-dialer, once you pick up, you hear a series of beeps, then a heavily accented voice (both males and females) identify themselves as "Computer Maintenance Department" calling about our Windows computer. I generally head off the caller by asking WHICH computer needs work (we have many at our home). At this point, the callers usually disconnect. I have not gone past this point, but it seems they may be trying to gain remote access to our Windows machines.
