Mega Millions Sweepstakes Company Reports & Reviews (4)

The company has called several times. I returned call today just to see who it was. They didn't answer but called me a second time about 3 mins later. He stated he was Craig White from Mega Millions Sweepstakes calling to see why I hadn't replied back to their request to get my winning $8.5 millions and 2020 Mercedes. I told him I hadn't gotten anything stating I won and if he could send again I would reply. I then asked when he sent the information he said yesterday which was a Saturday and I only had until Monday to reply. He kept saying there were many scams going around and I needed to get processed quickly. He then told me I just needed to get processed by paying paying the fees and that would get me my money and car. I then told him I was a police officer and since he was being recorded I needed him again to repeat why I had to pay fees for a sweepstakes and car I had won. I told him I should be able to pay fees when I do my taxes. This is when he said he didn't have time for my games and told me to call back only if I was ready to pay the fees and hung up.

This scammer will say that you won a prize from his company and then we will ask you to pay half of the customs fee to claim your winnings and by the way I spoke to customs at my local airport and they even said its a scam.

This company first called me saying there were US Customs. They called back and said they were Publisher's Clearing House. They said that I won a lottery and they wanted me to go to a UPS store on Elm Street to collect papers about my winnings. I told him I couldn't go there because it was out of business. He said I should go to Staples to get a fax. They sent me 26 pages about my "winnings" and what I had to do to collect the funds. The papers stated I won $18,000,500.00, but that I had to pay$47,580.00 to receive the money. They wanted me supposedly pay for attorney's fees and for taxes. They did not say how they wanted me to pay, but they did ask for the name of my bank. The name of the man I was "working" with was Peter Rosenberg.

I received an email telling me I had won the Mega Millions Lottery for 5500000.00. It had a picture of a man supposedly named Frank Washington holding a cheque for me. It was pretty obvious they had typed in the name on the picture. They said to claim the amount I only had to pay legal fees. They also had a ScamPulse.com logo on the letter.
