I am an owner of a business, and my inside accountant / CFO received an email from a spoofed sender that looked like it was my email. When he replied to the message, the email address was not mine - it was from "[email protected]". The email message asked him to wire transfer me an amount of $58,800 and asked him to reply via email with instructions. This did NOT come from me. And is very disconcerting because I had prior email correspondence about this same dollar amount in another transaction. Please help!!!
