- Amarillo, TX, USA

This person called me over six times today, threatening to take action against me. After I told them to leave me alone, he started making derogatory comments about the FBI that highly offended me. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC.

I received a telephone call on May 12, 2017 from a recording from someone claiming to be the IRS. The recording stated that there is a warrant for you so please call us back @ 1-440-276-6718. I then called the number back and blocked my number. I heard a Click, I could tell someone was there but they did not say anything. I then hung up the phone. Yesterday, I received the same type of call, when I called the number 1-334-232-7430 after several rings and rings, I received a recording. I hung up. My wife also received a similar call on her cell phone.

- Canton, OH, USA

The female voice stated that this call was in regards to a lawsuit that the IRS has against us, and that we need to call the number listed above to get more info regarding our case. The voice never mentioned our names nor the IRS contact's name during the call. No other information was left on the message.
