Harry Powell - Facebook - U.S. Dept. of Labor Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

I replied "Interested" to an online posting for employment in a online garage sale group I'm in on Facebook. The person posting then sent me a message on Facebook and wanted me to do an interview. The posting in Facebook just said work from home and earn up to $300 a week. On Messenger I asked for more information and said I wasn't comfortable continuing without for details. He said I'd be "running errands and going to stores for them" I mentioned my hesitation and that with all the scams going on I needed more info. He sent me a link and said that would provide me the info to know it was legal. The link went to a page that did not seem legit with some poor graphics and basically just asked for my personal information including address, bank, name, phone number, etc. I did not feel comfortable with it and said this to the man. Even when asking for more information about the business, the man still provided nothing further and his replies had some incorrect grammar usage that seemed like broken English. I decided not to pursue it further.
