I did not send any payment but they have threatened me with a lawsuit and keep calling and harassing me. So I reported them to the Government of Canada Fraud Department https://antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/report-signalez-eng.htm

Type of a scam Tech Support

Computer screen went black and an alarm started sounding. Verbiage came over the screen that I needed to call the number in order to fix the computer. Not understanding technology, the call was made. Fixed the computer and requested a check be mailed to the address listed in the claim for a 2 year service at 798 USA currency. The entire interaction made me uncomfortable, I noticed serious discrepancies with their agreement. Misspellings, lack of itemized details of service and cost, multiple paragraphs of other agencies being scams.
Don’t pay them they will keep calling. Please report them if you are in Canada to the fraud agency.,

About a year ago, I opened a web site that let off alarms, that I had a trojan horse on my computer, and to call this number for help which was a 1-877-638-9320. I gave them access to my computer for a fee, and they showed me all the IP address that were hacking into my computer for information. I gave them $945.45 for a 3 years contract to straighten out my computer. Every month for 10 months they have been securing my computer, to update the security system. I was due for my update on Sept. 13 2021, I called the number above and a voice mail came over stating that the number was blocked for outside callers, I was also given a number of 1-855-899-1960, the voice mail was full. I didn't find out that these people were scammers, until I googled the number. I should of known it was a scam because all the people I would talk to had a accent. I am on Social Security and had to scramble to get this money up, because they made it sound like all my information was on the dark web. Since May of 2021. I have had people trying to open up bank accounts in my name, and I first thought of these people I am kicking myself for being so stupid.

I had paid this company 7 mos ago for lifetime protection and to get monthly tuneups. So I called for a tuneup. They said my IP address was hacked from Russia and cybersecurity would have to get involved. At first said there was nothing they could do but 2 hours later said they could fix it over the next 24 hours for $12,000 for lifetime protection of the IP address. I was going to work this out but then I read this site and decided against it. I called Geek squad and they cleaned up the pc. Told me that the problem GNH said was a problem was not a valid issue. Since I got off the session with Geek squad, they have tried to remote in 3 times and called me 4 times. I'm ignoring the calls and disconnecting their remote requests. I uninstalled their AnyDesk app but somehow they can still request access. Still worried but glad I saved $12,000.

One year ago a message came across my computer screen that "a potential virus" was in progress and then a telephone number for "help" in dealing with it. I wrote Global Network a $599.99 check but I was not to send it, I was just asked to place it in front of my camera on my computer and they would take a picture of it. The check was made out to Webbloft. Every month they would call me and tell me they were scanning my computer for viruses. Last Friday I received a scam call from someone who had very accurate knowledge of my finanicals, address, etc. According to the bank, the scam caller, who said they were from Amazon, had to have had full access to my computer...therefore, either Global Network sold my information to a scammer or they were the scammers. I had to have a new router, computer totally cleaned of the Global's access, and the worst part was all of my banking accounts had to be closed and reopened with new numbers, along with my debit card. What a mess.

This is a follow up to my last correspondence .. I wanted to call the BBB immediately and I looked up the area codes used by this scamming company they are 855 8991960 and 877 6389320. it shows they ARE NOT associated with any particular city, state, province, or country. What now? If anyone is doing a class law suit I would like to be included. JUST IN my bank account Wal-Mart- account Amazon account and Ebay account have been hacked. From guess where? India and Russia. TO THE SCAMMERS dirt bags Just remember KARMA is a B[censored] and the word karma comes from India. You disgust me.

HI I wish I had read this prior to being (bullied) into having this company help me. They helped me alright out of 249.99. Got a VERY LOUD message announcing DO NOT SHUT down your computer, your computer has been compromised. And I believe it was. But now I think it was there company that caused me a world of hurt. How do they even have the right to get into your computer and basically take it over? Also, when I called them, sorry to say I became very irritated that I could NOT understand what any of there Technician's were saying. Again sorry, the whole company of scammers I believe were from India. I feel so stupid and angry. I am 65 on Social security I can not afford to lose this kind of money. There got so nasty when I wanted there stuff off my computer and became insulting to me. I don't know what else to say. I want my money back. They did nothing for me, except exploit me. There phone number is 855 899-1960. I asked them to give me there e-mail address and they got pissed off. If anyone is going to start a class action law suit against them I am more than happy to participate. I am 76 years old and i also got scammed by global network help ,my screen went balck and an alarm went off and advised me to call a number that popped up,so like a dummy i called them they said i had 13 people trying to get my info and the only to fix it was to have their help,so i agreed to have their help and they had my computer installed with mallware so they could see what i was doing everytime i got on my computer.that mistake cost me 400.00 and they were supposed to take 300 out of my bank account in september but i checked on the bbb website and found there were alot of people that got scammed like me.i changed my bank account after i realised what was happening.but now they are calling me at least 20 times a day so i changed my homephone # but don.t know how to block them on my cell phone i hope noone else gets scammed like i did.that sure has hurt me financially.

Same thing happened to me on 8/26/2020 in real estate & I clicked on an article real estate marketing group our brokerage has used for years. Blue screen popped up that said Microsoft, that someone had entered my network & gave number to call. I did not know Microsoft will never list a number to call, found that out after the fact unfortunately. Was fed the same lines but at the same time "Max" told me Microsoft does route calls to third parties like them, Global Network Help (GNH) to assist with issues like this. Like a dumb a-- I fell for it & gave them access to my computer also after "Max" transferred me to "Henry" because "Max" could not get into my computer. After "Henry" got remote access, "Max" showed me all the IP addresses that had "successfully" attacked my computer, the cities where the IP addresses were located & others that failed. As they were "fixing" my computer I was transferred to Don Richard, security manager for Global Network Help. Don gave me the sales pitch for the different protection plans that cover "external" protection, (said Windows, TrendMicro only cover "internal" network protection) along with the "senior" discount cost, 2, 3, 5 years or lifetime plans, etc. Like a fool I gave them an electronic check for one of the plans along with the $250.00 "tech" charge. Was told I could not use a credit card because I should not do any shopping or banking on my computer for 24 hours. About 10 minutes after their "work" was completed I receive a call from "Anna Wilson" who would be my "best friend" the next 5 years, any issues any time I can call her & all will be corrected. "Anna" sent me the "contract" (not on letterhead" which I signed electronically - again being STUPID! About 30 minutes after that call I looked up company & could find nothing with that name through Google. Tried calling Microsoft but got recording it was after hours for help so I immediately called my bank & stopped payment on that check, changed passwords, etc. & made an appointment for next morning first thing (8 am) to close that checking account & open another one. Called Microsoft as soon as I got back from the bank & found out this company was not one Microsoft had ever used & I definitely had been scammed! Tech with Microsoft scanned my computer, removed the 3 programs GNH had installed on my computer, one of the programs gave them access to my computer & re-installed my TrendMicro that they had uninstalled. Thank God I was able to avoid a total disaster. This evening, 6 pm 8/28/20 I receive a call from "Daniel" checking to make sure my computer was working ok - side note my "best friend Anna" had told me Wed. someone would be calling me between 9 & 11 am to make sure all was working correctly, guess GNH clocks weren't working - HA! I told "Daniel" yes it was just fine no thanks to them, that I had stopped payment on the check & let him have it about the lies they spewed on Wed. He got really nasty with me & said I could not do that, I had signed a "contract", they did the work, they were a legitimate co., gave me their website address to prove it(doesn't come up by name with a Google search, have to enter www.globalnetworkhelp.com in search bar which I did - it did come up & their site is NOT SECURE - what legitimate computer tech company would have an unsecured site?) on & on. I replied with a few choice words, told him I could care less what he said, to sue me, said they would, told him I was waiting & hung up. Yes I was a complete [censored] but thankful I listened to my gut feeling after the fact & was lucky enough to avoid a total disaster. No monetary loss but lots of time loss changing passwords, bank account, the time GNH kept me on the phone Wed. & a sleepless night Wed., along with still being nervous about what might pop up in the future. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ONE MINUTE OF YOUR TIME!

On August 24, 2020, clicked on an article about social security and immediately received a notice that there was a problem and it locked up my screen. It stated that Edge had blocked my computer and there was a phone number to call. I called the number listed thinking it was connected to Microsoft Edge and they said they were a Global Network Help and not contracted with anyone. I should have hung-up then but I let them help and gave access to my computer. They want money but only by check and wanted me to agree to a long contract with them. I became suspicious of them and immediately after they did their "scanning and repair", I contacted Geek Squad and they ran a scan and removed everything that the so-called tech company added. Did not send check or give them any other banking information. Now they are calling me for payment.

On August 8, 2020, a red screen appeared across the computer screen. It stated that Apple had blocked my computer and there was a phone number to call. I called the number and they said they were a third party contractor with Apple. I gave them access to the computer and they cleared the block. They asked for $622.99 by check, which they scanned. The check was payable to Webbloft LLC. After I realized it was all a scam, I blocked their access and ran a virus and malware system that removed the malware. I stopped payment on the check. They have been continuously calling and leaving messages. They have been threatening us with a collection agency. We have been blocking their phone calls.

Daughter called and requested their business ID number and they stated it was on the form. The only numbers on the form are phone numbers.

All of their apps have since been removed from the computers as their apps provided constant access to all my information.

Company has called continuously requesting status of payment. They have also threatened collections.

My 83 yr old husband and I got a warning on our computer screen to call Global Network Help at 877-638-9320 or 855-899-1960. The man has an Indian accent. He says if we don't pay him $700 he will sue us. He talked to them for hours on Saturday. He gave them an ecard deposit, but we called the bank and got an alert put on our accounts.
