Hello yes, back in 2017 I had a message come across my laptop screen with an 1-800 number to call saying my laptop was at jeopardy. Well I called the number and they said they worked with Microsoft to help take care of tech support, well they had me let them access my laptop, and wanted to charge me $700.00 life time support for any issues well i think they say all that to get in the laptops and cause issues or steal information. Well I told them to cancel whatever they were doing that I was not going to pay so they said they had! But now I am getting calls from 1-213-349-3734 saying that they are Geek America an that they need to get in my laptop again to remove an IP number because their company is going out of business and they wanna refund my $700! Which like I said I cancelled that as I was on the phone with them!

Received a phone call from with message to contact Geek America so they could send refund for services that we paid for. They has been ordered to make these reimbursements. Person from Geek did not want any of my credit information but wanted me to go to my computer so they could show me what to do in order to receive my $300.00 back. Supposedly because Geek had not been able to follow thru with deal.. I did not give him any information but with all my questions, his attidude quickly changed and I ended the call. Supposedly he was located in New Jerssey.

Approx. 1 year ago, I was contacted by Geek America to tell me my computer was in dangerous shape due to virus, malware, etc. For approx. $1600, they would fix it all by computer. After 3 days the work was not completed and I contacted Dell, all problems were resolved. We changed bank account numbers to protect our bank accounts. About 10 days ago, I was Contacted by Geek America by phone to say they wanted to refund my money. These calls continued for 3-4 calls per day by various people, i.e.Christain, refund department. I responded to all of these calls by saying if they wanted to refund my money to send me a check. This was denied and that I had to be in front of my computer. Yesterday and so far today, I have not received any phone calls. I also reported this scam to Federal Trade Commision.

this company is a scam and they are using ScamPulse.com as their lead to get into peoples computer. they got a way in my computer and then started looking into my personal banking and passwords that's when i ended the call and shut down my computer. i spoke directly with Microsoft and they advised it was a scam and they would never send pop ups with any warning like this for tech support. THIS IS A SCAM company and ScamPulse.com is still allowing them to say they are top rated with BBB!!
