In June of last year my garage door wasn't working well. It randomly closes half way and then up. So I called Garage Door Service and Repair. They immediately came out around 7 pm and diagnosed and told me I needed new chains and some more technical story. i agreed because my garage door wasn't functioning well. i paid $1300.00 for the repair. Not cheap I thought but ahwell I hoped the problem was fixed. He gave me a year warranty. So overtime the garage door was randomly doing the same thing and sometimes it is really worse that I stand there for a while to close the garage door. After a few months I called the garage door people and told them what was going on. One technician told me over the phone that I needed a new motor. He diagnosed without even looking at my garage door. I made an appointment but there was a no show. So I called and told them nobody showed up. The receptionist made an new appointment without any apology. I thought okay this time we'll get it done. Then I received a phone call on the end of the day that the technician coudn't make it because he got all cut up that day. He said he was coming the next day but only in the evening time. Since I am uncomfortable with that I said I will call the office to make a new day time appointment. The appointment day came and once again a no show. This time I am thinking what is going on with this company? So I called and called and finally got ahold of Daniel who is the owner. He apologized he said this time he will take care himself of my garage door. And for my inconvenience he will give me a check for $200.00 I didn't asked for that but he offered. And he will call me for an appointment date. So you guessed it I hear nothing back. So I call and call and got lucky to get ahold of Daniel again. He was really rushed on the phone and said that he needed to talk with the office for an opening time. And once again I hear nothing. So I called and called and found out that I was blocked on his cell number. I called a different number and it refers to a temporary number. I called but that number was disconnected. I took my landline phone and called the office and asked immediately why they blocked me on my cell. The receptionist answered I don't know but what can I do for you? So I told her that Daniel told me to give him a reminder call on September 21 which I did and that he did not got back to me and that my patience really get tested at this moment. She told me to stop yelling and let her talk. I thought wow now this is getting ugly. And I said yes please talk. She said that she will talk to the supervisor. End of story there was nothing more she could do. So I told her that this really no way of handling customer service and if I don't hear from the supervisor I will contact BBB. And here is where my story ends.

Thinking back I think I was ripped off with the new chain etc. I didn't even see the new equipment but in good faith I paid and trusted the door was fixed. What I really want from these people is my money back because this whole story sounds like a big scam. Thank you for your willingness to help me.

A man took a check for $400 as a deposit to repair our garage door on 3 June 2021. We have repeatedly called to get a refund. They refuse to do the work and return our money.
