I went to their website and saw that they had a Dapple Dachshund available so I contacted them on April 16th. I told them I was interested in Nala, the puppy that they stated on the website was available and asked about pricing. They responded to my email on 4-16-2021 at 8:24pm PST with information about the puppy and a group of questions they had for me before considering selling her to me. Twelve emails later (I still have all the emails) we've discussed over the phone that it would be easiest to send money through Zelle. I signed on to my banks app so that I could do the money transfer of $1150. The money was confirmed sent as of April 17th at 11:31am PST. After they received the money and I signed the contract they stated they would send me the transport information as well as the new owners agreement. They sent me a link to the transport service which was also a fake transport website. My husband found out they were scammers on Petscams.com and immediately had to call our bank to submit a claim to get our money back.

The scammers were selling dogs on another website ( https://courageousdachshund.com ) but scamming(no dogs came) they said to pay on bitcoin. The page got deleted and now they made this scam page

Scammer was initially very responsive gave me lots of info regarding buying a puppy. Then the payment process (using Amex gift card or Venmo) seemed suspicious to me and they also gave me no exact address but did say they were in Erie PA but this bbb lists them in CO. Anyway, when I sent them an email about specifics and asked the exact location of the kennel and the name and address of the Vet. They did not return any email or text.

I inquired about a puppy for sale online through website form. The website had good reviews posted on their site and listed a name of "Vicky" as the owner. No other contact info was available. The company immediately texted my phone saying they sent me an email. I checked my email, and they provided details of the dog. I told them I was interested, and they responded by saying I had to send an $1,100 AMEX giftcard so they could put the dog on a plane with a pet nanny. I thought that was strange, so I called the number from the text and a man with a heavy accent answered. I requested to see a video of the dog with a piece of paper with the currrent date in the video to show it was real and he hung up on me. This website is also listed on petscams.com with the following info: Exquisiteminiaturedachshunds.com was registered on January 28, 2021 with NAMECHEAP INC . It was registered using the following details: Name:WhoisGuard Protected ([email protected]) Address:P.O. Box 0823-03411, Panama

We were looking for a dachshund. We recently lost our dachshund of 13 years. We found this website Exqusite Miniature Dachshunds. We sent an email. We received a response. We were a good fit for the puppy we chose. We were told that the puppy was to be purchased with American Express Gift Cards. It was stated that through American Express we would receive a “ starter kit for the puppy, and that the puppy would be flown to us using a cabin nanny to escort the puppy to the airport . We sent pictures of the gift cards and the receipts. The scammer communicated with us that we would receive flight confirmation 5he next day. We set up a virtual visit to meet the puppy, the female and male parents, after which the puppy would be taken to the airport and flown to us, via Delta Airlines. We set an agreed to a virtual meet at 9:00 AM CST on Monday. To which there was no answer. At 10 CST the number had a message that the phone number is a vacant number.
