Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in this job posting. My name is Stephen Cheng, and I work as a clinical consultant for the Disabilities Division of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

I provide individual and group therapy, coaching, assessment, and academic screenings to support students and people with disabilities (physical, chronic, psychiatric, and invisible) who are registered with UNICEF. A large percentage of people served by the Department of Mental Health have psychiatric disabilities or comorbid psychiatric disabilities and need mental health support to be successful.

You have received this email because you have received an offer from the University Office of Disabilities to work with me while we help students with disabilities who are frustrated by ignorance and lack of services as my temporary personal assistant. I am unable to meet for an interview as I am currently in Australia with my wife, who is battling cancer and facing surgery next week. You will be paid in advance for any tasks or shopping you do on my behalf. Upon my arrival, we will discuss the possibility of long-term employment if I am impressed with your performance while I am away.

I have a list of unfinished tasks and duties that I need you to run errands for. I understand that you may be studying or working. Therefore, this position is posted as a part-time job and can be done from the comfort of your own home. This is an opportunity to earn some extra money and gain experience at the same time.

The position is flexible, so you can do it anywhere as long as there is a Rite Aid, CVS, Target, Staples, Micro-Center, 99 Cents Only Store, Walmart, H-E-B, Target, or a stationery store nearby. My current schedule requires a trustworthy person to help me manage my workload when I am not in the U.S., help me deliver my services on time, and also take care of important matters in my professional life. The sensitivity of this position requires a sense of responsibility, trustworthiness, perseverance, and honesty.

I would like you to start immediately if you accept this offer. I have a large workload to handle that requires immediate attention.

Each month, UNICEF and other foundations engage in corporate social responsibility (CSR) to address the needs of foster families in various countries. This month is unique due to the current pandemic. There is a list of items to get this month, and my team will be responsible for purchasing some of these items, delivering them, and making donations. The good news is that you are now part of the team and can get started.

You will be responsible for making donations to some orphanages. This will include purchasing items, electronics, and other supplies that you would purchase and deliver to the specified foster homes. I am willing to pay $750.00 weekly, including gas and other expenses.

I am in need of your services immediately. Once I receive your response, I have a financier handle your payment. I will ask that the payment for the first week be sent to you along with the wages for the errands you will run for me during the first week. You must also be able to complete the task on time with little or no supervision. I want to be sure that you are committed to assisting me.

You will have the opportunity to evaluate your ability to work and decide if you would like to work for an extended period of time, which includes the benefit of health insurance, vacation pay, etc. Please confirm your interest so that we can move forward, as there are urgent tasks on the ground.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and your interest in working with me as my assistant.

Sincerely

Dr Stephen Cheng
