I am sure there are more. They are recycling the same pictures. Please Don't give them your money. I have spoken with REAL breeders. There is no one in such a desperate need that they would sell these show quality kittens at such a low price. There is so much money involved in cat breeding, most kittens are sold before they are born with long waiting lists. The breeders are going to want to meet you and know you before they let their kittens go. They will not offer them up for sale like this. The further I dig the more fraud I find. These people are cunning. They will tell you this is not a scam, I am a Christian, I wouldn't lie to you. They will contact you over Text and Email. They will not answer the phone or FaceTime. Protect yourself. I think they are over seas because when they attempted to get money from me it wanted to change the currency to Euros. I am reporting them everywhere I can.

I was interested in purchasing a Maine [censored] kitten. Came across this website it was interested in a kitten from here. As I am not looking to pay full price for a main [censored] which they can be very expensive. I decided on this online breeder. With that said couple of red flags went up during our transaction but seemingly were resolved during our phone conversations. Unfortunately they use Zell or cash app no credit card link which I should have stopped at that point but thought using Zell which is a app that can be used through your bank account there would be protection like PayPal. That is not the case this individual claimed he was Edward Young or Edwardstone word and was married to Elizabeth Young gave a phony Zelle payment account took my money and ran. No cat to show for it and Zelle does not have protection.

We contacted Maine [censored] Cattery,  272-420-4652, and purchased one of their available kittens. After speaking with the 'breeder' we felt comfortable moving forward with purchasing the kitten. The kitten was shipped from Allentown, PA to Columbus, OH with a one hour layover in Detroit. Once the kitten arrived in Detroit, we received an email stating we needed to purchase $1,500 in pet insurance in order for the kitten to be shipped to its final destination. We contacted the 'representative' from Global Animal Transports and he stated that the $1500 was due to COVID-19 regulations placed on the airlines. He then also said that the insurance rate was based upon the pet store price of $4500-5000. After arguing with him for quite a while about his conflicting terms, I told him I would call him back to discuss how to proceed. We made several attempts to contact the representative just a few minutes later and left several messages with him along with the breeder to which none have been returned.

Contacted through website to request the availability of a Main [censored] kitten named Nico. Was told he was available and we exchanged several more emails with information on the purchase of Nico. They even sent me pictures of Nico and his parents, and a video of Nico with a description of his personality. Seemed mostly on the up and up but a few things seemed off. I had to ask several times for certain info before they would answer, one of which was their location. They finally told me they were in Tatamy Pennsylvania and provided a phone number in which the area code matched the area they gave me. However, I could not find a business name showing up with the adress they gave, and when I looked up the address on Google maps it showed what looked like a duplex house on a residential street and I thought that was odd. The price they were asking for Nico was $500 plus free shipping (with extra $50 charge if we wanted shipped directly to our home instead of picking up at the airport.) They asked for my shipping info and said they would send instructions on wiring the money on Zelle or Cash app. The having to wire the money also seemed odd to me. I sent them the shipping information and the email they sent back had the wire information plus a contract to sign and send back. I noticed the name on the account to wire the money to was totally different from the 2 breeders names on the contract. Their signature on the contract didn't appear to match either the wire account name or the breeders names. Now I was really nervous so I came on the ScamPulse.com site to look up potential scams and low and behold I came across a report dated just 2 days earlier of 2 sisters who purchased 2 kittens from them, and the kittens never showed up. They said when they tried to contact them again, they would not reply. And amazingly, one of the kittens they purchased was Nico. So they supposedly sold them Nico already while they were still negotiating a sale with me on the same kitten! Once we knew it was a scam, my daughter told me the video they sent of Nico looked really familiar. She was on a couple of Facebook sites looking for Maine [censored] and sure enough she pulled up the Facebook page of someone who sells Maine [censored] in another country, and the background, the couch and even the toy Nico was playing with in the video I was sent exactly matched this lady's pictures and videos of her Main [censored]. Not sure if they stole from this lady's page or if she is in on the scam. Beware of Emerald Maine [censored] Cattery! Definitely adds up to a scam!! And thank goodness for the complaint filed with the ScamPulse.com just 2 days earlier or we would have lost our money and not received a kitten!
