Diamond Pet Convey Reports & Reviews (3)

I first met this couple who goes by the name Glenn & Maria Grate Dane Puppies on Fb. They where advertising grate dane puppies for $700 dollars and with the shipping service it would be $1,050. I emailed back and forth with "Glenn & Maria" over the course of 24 hours, where we learned about each other. She told me all about the puppy, Paris, that she was hoping to let me have, I told her about me, my pet experiences and where I was from. They asked for my form of payment and we agreed it would be Venmo and I send them a total of $1,050 on Venmo. Then they said they could arrange through a reliable pet transportation company to have Paris delivered to me. I agreed. After emailing the shipping company, called Diamond Pet Convey, I was told that the total for her transportation would be $2,800 and that Paris would arrive at my house at 7:30pm that same day. I paid the fee via zelle, per the scammer's request, and got a confirmation email that I would receive a flight itinerary for my dog within the hour. A half an hour later, I got an email label as "URGENT" that told me that the crate they had Paris in had not been approved, and in order to stick to the delivery schedule, I would need to rent a safe crate for $1,900. The email said that the rental fee was 100% refundable once the puppy was delivered. I was skeptical, so I called and spoke with someone at the business, and asked for clarification on the refund. I asked what would happen if I didn't pay for the crate, where the dog would go now that I was told the puppy was in my name. All of my questions were answered. I sent the second payment, and asked for an email confirmation that I would be refunded when my puppy was delivered, which they happily sent. Not long after, I had a question, so I called back and no one answered. I texted and emailed the couple multiple times with no response. This is when I realized I had been scammed. I called my bank and they said that it’s not possible to refund me my money back because it was done through a third party (Venmo, Zelle). I am so angry they took my money and I dint get my puppy. In the bottom I will leave pictures of the scammmers pages.

I first met someone who goes by the name Maria Watson on craiglist. She was advertising that she needed her mini goldendoodle puppies rehomed, as her and her husband could no longer care for them. I texted and emailed back and forth with "Maria" over the course of 24 hours, where we learned about each other. She told me all about the puppy, Zoey, that she was hoping to let me have, I told her about me, my pet experiences, and we talked about simple things regarding logistics. She asked if I could drive to Atlanta to pick up the puppy. I told her I would be happy to come this weekend, but she said she was hoping to get the puppy rehomed before then. She said she could arrange through a reliable pet transportation company to have Zoey delivered to me. I agreed. After emailing the shipping company, called Diamond Pet Convey, I was told that the total for her transportation would be $450 and that Zoey would arrive at my house at 10am the next morning. I paid the fee via zelle, per the scammer's request, and got a confirmation email that I would receive a flight itinerary for my dog within the hour. A half an hour later, I got an email label as "URGENT" that told me that the crate they had Zoey in had not been approved, and in order to stick to the delivery schedule, I would need to rent a safe crate for $1200. I texted and emailed Maria multiple times with no response. This is when I realized I had been scammed. I am currently working with my bank to file a dispute over the charges and can only hope that I get my money back. I am truly saddened and disheartened that scammers can so easily ruin peoples' lives.
