I got a mail from Helen Thompson of AutomationLLC offering me Operations manager Remote role due to Covid 19. It looked completely legit with a perfect company website to match.
I never got an interview but went through some mail exchange and got the job anyways. Then came the next phase which was documentation - requesting i fill my tax form with SIN and Photo Id etc. I did not get a phone interview, but got a phone call to hurry to fill the form and send all requested ids. Red Flag
One of the mails had CNC Imports Ltd on it and thats why i came hear. I am so glad i did. Because this site simply told me all i needed to know.
Thanks for sharing

I received an Email from an HR Helen Thompson, from the Automation LLC, same website content as CNC Imports LTD, that I have been selected for the operations manager role and my base salary will be $3200 CAD biweekly. then same story as above...

I received an Email from Jennifer Craig that I have been selected for the operations manager role and my base salary will be $3200 CAD biweekly. Please don't provide any info or resume as they are trying to BS you. You never got accepted for any role without any interview. There are always red flags when somebody offers you something knowing that you are already employed with somebody

Same thing has happened to me. I got an email from Carolyn Lowery and I sent it to my guidance counselor, who said that this looked legit. I filled out the Google Form and then she asked me to download telegram. I did not because I found out this page. The website looks legit. Yet, aside from the website they do not have a LinkedIn nor any social media page. Plus, Carolyn Lowery is not on any professional websites like LinkedIn. Good thing I found this page sooner and did not download telegram as she requested it.

Good day, i received an offer of employment from the above mentioned company, even though i have not send them any application. The offered salary was to good to be true, i tried verifying the company by searching through the internet. Not much information i got however i found out that they have a website. Then later i got a call from the telephone number mentioned on their website, they even explain how the company operates, that they have a warehouse in the US, and since they are expanding in North America they have put up an office in Halifax since its near the port, they also mentioned that they have the full cooperation of Halifax port authority and in the future they are planning to put an office here in Fredericton, New Brunswick. With that, i somewhat feel like it is a legit company, they sent me a contract (sample attached) and asked me to send any valid ID and my SIN for tax purposes. After sending all the document they then ask me further information like credit card info and bank account info, and to signed another document called direct deposit and outsourcing authorization form (sample attached), they mentioned that if i give the credit card info i will receive more bonuses. After giving them again all the information, they then ask me if i know how to process BitCoin. which i told them i dont know. They said its not a problem, since they will instruct me how to do it as part of my training. I ask them what is the purpose of BitCoin, they said that it is the latest and cost effective way to do trading transaction and as an authorize agent i should know how to do it. then they said monday next week, which is today they will give me my very first task. I was thinking about the validity of this business the whole weekend, asking my friends and family. Most of them said it must be a scam. I check there website this morning and it was not accessible and their telephone line is out of reach. this confirmed my doubt. Then i message telling them that i am waiting for there next instruction. after maybe 2 hours they replied and the website is now up and the telephone has now a ringtone. then i got the message from them, my first task which is to go to the nearest Bitcoin ATM machine and deposit a 20 CAD then i need to send them a picture of the receipt in the machine with the code in order for them to verify that i have completed the task. Since im totally convince that this is a scam, i just said Yes to it, but i will never do it. i alerted my bank about the case. And look for a way in the internet to report the scam. which i found this site. The scammer is still following up with me by repeatedly calling and messaging me, if i have completed the task given. I really hope that you can do something in order to stop this scammer from ruining peoples lives. Thank You.

I also received an email from an HR manager Jessica Craig, CNC Imports LTD. I reviewed CNC Imports, LTD on the web and read their financials at least according to what I could find. BIG mistake it appears, thought it was legit, gave her my information thinking it was a real opportunity. However as we progress, it began to feel a bit sketchy. So what I should have done at the beginning I am doing at the end. Lesson learned.

- Tampa, FL, USA

I received an email from an HR manager Mary Lusk, she said she is from CNC Imports LTD, she also said she found my resume in Indeed. The email looks really legit with all the address from US and their website seems really legit. She made me answer a few questions via webform with my information and later on made me download Telegram. That's when I knew it is something sketchy that's why I research it online and found it here, good thing it didn't go further than that.
