I found an add on craigslist for a husky puppy in PA. I responded to the add by email. The "owners" of the puppy contacted me via email first ([email protected]). We exchanged several emails then once transport of the puppy was set up, the husband started texting me (724-281-3858). I also started receiving calls from citizen pet express (443-328-4144 and 2376-7073-0510) regarding the transport of the puppy. I received emails from [email protected] regarding tracking numbers and delivery info.

Then the nonsense began. I started receiving texts, emails, and calls from the "owners" and the "transport company" requiring all kinds of fees necessary for the puppy to complete the trip. Pay $995 for the kennel rental, %95 refundable upon arrival of puppy. Pay $880 for a city permit, %95 refundable upon arrival of puppy. Pay $1295 for 3 certificates, %95 percent refundable upon arrival of puppy.

This took a week to sort through... the owners would say they'd split the cost then I sent my part... every time one thing got settled a new fee would pop up. Now that it's been a week, I still don't have my puppy and they are wanting additional fees. $305 to renew the flight ticket because it expired. It's one thing after another. I refused to pay the fees and now the "owners" are pressuring me saying I have no heart and such.

Also, I might mention that they wanted all of the payments via moneygram and western union.

I was contacted after inquiring about purchasing a Great Dane puppy. The original email was from Christophine Muz, who stated that she was in the hospital due to cancer and couldn't take care of the puppies due to her health issues. I was contacted by her "son", John Bradley, who was the main contact after that. John Bradley text me and emailed me. He text and called me from 3072153986. Everything looked legitimate. He sent me pictures and video of the same dog. He also sent a sales contract. I stupidly wired $395 to him for the dog. Then came the shipping. This is where it became blatant that it was a scam. Supposedly the dog, who had two names, was registered at Citizen Pet Express. All of a sudden the dog needed a weather approved crate, which they wanted me to pay $990 for the crate but would refund $960 when the dog arrived. Then they wanted me to wire the money via Western Union to someone in Cameroon. I refused. So they wanted me to Wal Mart to Wal Mart transfer to Raymond Bellers in Erie, PA. I refused. An argument occurred and John used every trick in the book. He wanted to pick another courier and I wouldn't agree. Finally, he said he had a legit courier and sent me to Animal Air Pet Courier (7573046399) who wanted me to wire them $450 via Money Gram for insurance. I refused. The number was a google global number and when I didn't answer they accidentally left a voicemail discussing what they were going to say. I stopped all communication with them.
