A facebook ad for a site called Braverly (Bravetroops.vip is where it redirected) popped up advertising a lifelike, huge, mechanical spider that responded to touch and it was bigger than a persons hands. It advertised buy one get one. They charged $19.99 with $7.99 shipping for this and it gave a full description of its measurements and what its capabilities were. After taking my money and waiting a few weeks a small package showed up with 2 tiny spiders that looks like they came out of a bag of cheap halloween decorations. I made a complaint and all they have done is give me the runaround and tell me that I'm wasting my time. They don't wish to honor the sale or refund my money. They do want me to send back the item though at my expense. Obviously this is to save them money on scamming their next target. The original ad had a video showing someone playing with this spider and what its movements were like. In hindsight it was probably a real spider they recorded for their scam. Picture is shown with a small tootsie roll for size comparison. They did not give me the candy.
