Employment Scam

I was contacted first thru email by a person named Sandra atkinson thay my resume was selected via indeed and i am scheduled for an interview for a position, they did not indicate which position. In the email it is said that i have to contact a person named Michael Duckworth and download google teams cause that is where they will conduct the interview. I did whatever the instructions are, i went through the interview but it was only through chat, not even a video interview, and then after a couple of questions, they said i am HIRED, and they will send me a check to deposit in my bank account. As i was desperate for a job, i did what they told me to, and deposited in my account, they told me that this money will be use to purchase equipment for work. And they instructed me to go to wallmart to purchase apple cards worth $500 dollars, i did that as well, then they asked me again to do it 3 more times, so a total of $2000 dollars worth if apple card.
Thats when i realized that i was being scammed. Then i called my bank and they warned me that the chek i just deposited is a counterfeit.
I checked online of a name Michael Duckworth, it showed his obituary report. I lost $2000 dollars and now i don't have a job and I am in debt.

Type of a scam Phishing

Received a call stating, "You are in Kansas, you have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance in Kansas, correct?". He kept saying he was calling from Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance and I ended up hanging up. His English was not good so I ended up hanging up on him. I believe this was an attempt to collect some information about me but did not give him the time of day.
