How do they get all positive reviews? They are SCAMS!
I ordered a pair of hearing aids "C100" in May 2020. They sent an email the next day selling me an extra two years protection. Paid $179 plus &$27 (with 10% off offered).
then the battle began. Only polite email answers from Rae, with no results.
I cancelled it in July but no money was coming back.
Finally I had no choice but to tell the credit card company what happened and the credit card gave me back my money.
I tried to write a negative review about WiderSound but has to go trough them to approval before gets published?! Now, that is just pure [censored]ic, of course they not going to say "Yes you are right we should be hung"

I ordered widersound hearing aids for 199.00 almost 3 mos. ago and have nothing to show for it. I have asked for a refund several times. Now they dont even return e-mail. I am more than pissed.

4 months no product no refund. do not do bussiness with these people rip off!

It took almost 2 months to finally receive the hearing aid we ordered. But, we did finally get it. I like the other postings thought my money was not well spent and was lost forever. Yes they do ship from China and I have advised them to be honest and put that on their WedSite. I have also asked them to be honest about their expected delivery time. I let WiderSound know the shipper Newgistics has many, many complaints about delivery problems. I went through all the shipping nightmare I could stand trying to get this delivered. It took so long I had to buy another brand for my wife. Now, she can decide which one to wear and have a spare. I hope the WiderSound works good we have not tried it yet (COVED-19) but will in a day or so. What you should know is: They are not based in the USA they ship out of China. They will take a long time to get to you in this COVID-19 crisis. DON"T use anything but the fastest shipping they offer even if you have to pay the extra fee. When I looked at the label on the box today it was easily read so there was nothing on the label to prevent it from getting here faster. To be clear the shipping issue was and is the carriers problem in my case and probably in other complaints also. I kept getting assured by WiderSound everything would work out but they had no control of the shipper or shippers...and that is the case. So, know that the hearing aid does arrive...at least in our case. Know not to choose the cheapest shipping method. From first glance of the hearing aid it looks very nice and comes in its own box with a charging cable all inside a velvet slip tied pouch. Also, I am cancelling my claim with PayPal who worked with me all the way...kudos to PayPal.
Hope this helps

Ordered hearing aide supposedly made in USA May 2 2020.

Now June 13 no product

Shipped out of China not USA made

Refuses to cancel order and refund money.

Don’t purchase.

I can only add that we too are experiencing the exact same thing as others. We are now 22 days waiting for delivery, long past the date they said it would arrive. You get bogus tracking numbers but nothing showing USPS actually has your package. We have also filed a claim for delivery failure with PayPal. Their Web Site is a scam! They won’t refund your money unless you ship the hearing aid back in good condition...they have all angles covered can’t return it if you never get it. Please everyone leave complaints with PayPal and other sources to put a stop to these scammers. $99 hard earned money taken from a retired 73 year old man. May WiderSound rot in Hell!

Same scenario - they keep telling us when we inquire that the hearing aids are with their shipper and they have no control - this "company" is a complete sham - and we should have surmised. Don't buy hearing aids online - it is exactly as described by another reviewer: "This 'company' offers low-cost hearing aids "made in the USA" according to their website. Including free fast shipping and glowing reviews. In reality, they are a China-based firm that promises great service and satisfaction, but delivers neither. First, they provide no order details for days after purchase, then in order to get paid upon shipping, they provide an invalid tracking number which gets them paid." Then they keep blaming the "shipper" with whom they have no control, but there is no shipper that you can find that has your order. I'll also report them to the FTC - in hopes to help other people. Many other older Americans may also have been scammed by these fraudulent people, out to get money from folks who are seeking some relief from not hearing! Many are too proud to admit they've been conned by a promise on a website. We may be old and foolish but want to help others so they don't lose their money needlessly!

My husband is 74 and is very hard of hearing. He saw the ad on the internet for very inexpensive hearing aids along with glowing reviews!!! We ordered the hearing aids on 5/15/20 and they indicate that they allegedly shipped them, BUT the package as of May 23, 2020 at 2:56 pm

was "Picked Up by Shipping Partner" and will be delivered to USPS--- that USPS is "Awaiting Item." They make it sound REAL and very promising that this is on the up and up. However, they keep stating when we inquire that the hearing aids are with their shipper and they have no control. It truly appears, based now upon other complaints that this "company" WiderSound is a complete sham - and we should have surmised.

We have now lost $199. We ordered these in good faith that maybe, just maybe there might be some foolish little gadget out there that COULD help my husband hear and would not be cost prohibitive!! But alas, no - only a scammer seeking an easy way out.

This website- widersound.com - did have an 800 telephone # listed, but the number now is not being shown - and when I saw it yesterday and called, it was as another person advised - off the hook - unplugged or whatever - since it just rang as busy!! We hope to stop any other people from getting involved with this sham of a company and getting ripped off!!

I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. Waiting over a month for my order. Can'call them. They keep their phone off the hook! my order# WS1339.

Now reporting them to consumer affairs. Run by scam artist girls.

First, they provide no order details for days after purchase, then in order to get paid upon shipping, they provide an invalid tracking number which gets them paid.

After more then a week of unanswered inquiries, they provide a tracking update and a USPS tracking number. Unfortunately, that only refers to a 'shipping partner' named NEWGISTICS which says it picked up the package and it is on the way to the USPS. That was ten days ago with no movement or further tracking updates. That was the last I saw of my purchase and I have heard no more from WiderSound.com.

Their website is a total fake. Their reviews are made up and often use the same names for different reviews and use the same reviews over and over. They are not in the USA - they are in China, and I believe the details about being founded by a mother-daughter team are complete fabrications. Their customer service replies to e-mails by asking for the buyer to have patience and things will be alright.

They are not alright. I was scammed out of $99 and don't have the hearing aid I ordered.
