Webstorejobs.org Reports & Reviews (31)

I received a call from California 8317501761. I went to voicemail and the recording offered an Amazon job opportunity to apply for at webstorejobs.org.

Instead of going to the website, I entered "spam? webstorejobs.org" into the browser and MANY warnings came up indicating that this was a spam.

Here is the voice message left on my phone - “Hello this is Sarah calling with web store jobs dot org a nonprofit recruitment firm I saw your resume online and I'm calling about an online opportunity working with Amazon you'll be listing products and posting reviews online in your spare time Hourly pay ranges from $17-$32 an hour we are currently hiring 23 people this month so please register today at web store jobs dot org that's Web store jobs dot org”. I am looking for work and do have resume posted on line but I've learned to do checks on companies and sites I personally have not applied to. BE WARNED!!!!

I was just contacted via cell and they left a VM with the exact language used in a scam of another victim. They promised work from home opportunities with Amazon. I went to the website Webjobs.org and was told I would need to pay a small enrollment fee. I did not, but went to this site for info and saw that this was indeed a scam.

This is a recorded message that indicates a call from Sarah who is calling because she saw my resume online. It’s a supposed opportunity to work from home listing products for Amazon. When I went to the webstorejobs.org website, or one closely related to it, there was no specific job mentioned connected at all with Amazon. It did explain however that you could enroll your email and pay for an enrollment kit. That was the catch. When I called the number given above back, it directs you to go to a different site, hometyping.org. There is a disclaimer note at the bottom however that says it is not affiliated whatsoever with Amazon. Definitely a scam. My question is, we can report the Scams all we want to, but what are the “powers that be” doing about it??? There should be strict restrictions on creating websites and fake telephone numbers, so that these problems should never even happen to begin with.

Phone call to my cell phone. Then left s voicemail from a second number. Checked it out on line and yep once again, scammers! Beware!!!

This voicemail claim to see I resume on there site or internet, called and left there "non-profit recruitment firm" website. Their website said on the voicemail to be webstorejobs.org and/or webstorejob.org, it also claimed to be hiring 23 people right now to list products, and post reviews for "Amazon", so we know who a target is. The phone number they called from is (815) 427-4838, but the message from "Sarah" sounded fishy like a little edited by a computer but that could go untraced. Also claimed to be paying from 17-32 dollars hourly. It was a voicemail on my Fathers phone, however when I his daughter have created resume before I have used his cell number.
