New Horizon Moving & Storage initiated contact with regards to my move from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA. The representative "William Clayton" or AKA "Bill", claimed that New Horizon Moving & Storage (Address: 300 SE 2nd Street Suite 600, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33301) was a reputable and reliable company. "William" told us he would match any competing offer and thus that brought the estimate down to 2068USD. On this premise and another premise stating that I would get 1 month free storage for the first month with subsequent months after that being 140USD per month, we elected to go with New Horizon Moving & Storage. Neither of these things said turned out to be true. This move has already cost me over 2200USD (and counting) and none of my things have been delivered. The initial company that New Horizon Moving & Storage coordinated with for my move, never showed up. Therefore, in an attempt to rectify one of their many errors, New Horizon Moving & Storage, brought in We Pack Van Lines LLC. On the day of the pick up of my things, We Pack Van Lines LLC arrived well into the night (even though it was supposed to be at 3-5 pm as they stated beforehand). After my things were loaded, into the truck, I was quoted new charges that were not part of my initial understanding with New Horizon Moving & Storage. I attempted to dispute this that same night, but was coerced into an agreement especially, with the men from We Pack Van Lines LLC that were in my apartment late at night, refusing to leave. Since then, I've made efforts to contact New Horizon Moving & Storage, as well as We Pack Van Lines LLC to dispute this. I've got time wasting from New Horizon Moving & Storage, and disrespect from We Pack Van Lines LLC (with children being given the phone to yell and insult me). This culminated with a violent threat made by the alleged owner of We Pack Van Lines LLC, Mr. Livingston. This made me contact police, file report (222081987), and demand We Pack Van Lines LLC deliver my belongings while police were present (I was following police instructions). They elected to ship my things to Houston, TX instead and want to further extort me (additional 1076.25USD and that's not including the 706USD that I must pay upon delivery which takes the absolute total for this move to about 4055USD, almost double the initial agreed quote) unless my items will not be delivered. We Pack Van Lines is now threatening to donate or dispose of my items by August 28. Additionally, the amount charged for storage by We Pack Van Lines LLC has proven to be significantly higher than that which was stated on their contract; the contract says 50USD per 100 cubic ft (which would be 175USD since the total space of my belongings was 350 cubic ft), but We Pack Van Lines LLC charged me 525USD instead (which I paid them for the July storage). They've already defrauded me of so much money already and are attempting extort me and hold my belongings hostage. I've filed reports with the FBI, IC3, DOT/FMCSA (100205222), FTC (150722351), and now ScamPulse.com against these companies. To add an another layer to the suspiciously fraudulent nature of We Pack Van Lines LLC, they have presented five different addresses. On multiple PayPal invoices that they've sent, they present a Houston, Texas address (14300 Cornerstone Village Drive, Suite 312). An initial cashiers' check was advised to be made out to one of many Maryland addresses (1008 Fairground Drive, Salisbury, MD, 21801). On their contract there's another Maryland address (2309 E. Naylor Mill Road Unit523H, Salisbury, MD, 21804). The DOT has two different addresses for them: Physical (1326 N Salisbury Boulevard, Salisbury, MD, 21801) and Mailing (2001 Huntsman Drive Unit C, Salisbury, MD, 21801). We've caught them lying, fabricating stories, and impersonating people, so there's no telling whether the things they say at this point are even true. The whereabouts of my things are a mystery as well. It's clear that We Pack Van Lines LLC and New Horizon Moving & Storage are working in tandem on this fraudulent operation, with members from We Pack Van Lines LLC caught impersonating representatives of New Horizon Moving & Storage. New Horizon Moving & Storage still actively defends We Pack Van Lines LLC, in spite of all these issues being blatantly presented before them. This is no surprise, however, as multiple people have made reports against New Horizon Moving & Storage on the ScamPulse.com website. Again, this is very Urgent as We Pack Van Lines LLC are holding all my life's belongings hostage and are threatening to throw them all away on August 28.
