Wallace Travel Group Reports & Reviews (4)

I had the same experience. A text interview on zoom, same pay rate, same training rate, i did not get any emails from them despite them saying that they had sent me the paperwork through email. They asked me what bank i use, since I live in the US, because they wanted "To see if it tallies with the company's official salary payment accounts", I told them I don't currently have a bank account, and then they deleted my contact from Zoom and ghosted me. It definitely felt fishy but I didn't know how Ireland ran their businesses, and I thought the pay seemed to make sense for the type of data entry job I was offered, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they definitely tried to scam me. The email i was given to contact them was: [email protected]. Do not fall for this.

I went through the same thing. Received the same job offer and pay rate. I just started to doubt when the interviewer asked for my Name, address and phone #. I said that all the information is on my resume and they should have it. I was asked to report again tomorrow via zoom @ 8am.

Immediately "hired" me without checking my references. Have you ever heard the saying "too good to be true?". Go to their website and social media pages. Low quality photos... all their friends are over travel companies and they have been established since? Just super fishy. The interview ended with "congrats.. message me at 8am your time to fill out the hr paperwork. (Where they get your social security number). Luckily I had some friends at work agreeing that it was fishy and to not deposit that check for all the "startup" costs.

I was contacted about a job working from home for Wallace Travel Group in Dublin, Ireland. I did a zoom interview and went through all of the regular questions like a normal interview. They provide all the training and equipment. You will get paid for training $21 an our and $39 an hour after training. They said I got the job sent me an Employment offer and a w-4 form. I signed and returned everything by email. I received a check in the mail for $4,844. I took it to my bank with a the paperwork that I had and they said it's a fraud. They said if I deposit it they would close my account foe check fraud. I would be responsible for the full amount. When I told them what they said they asked if I had the mobile account set up on my phone. I told them yes but the check amount is more than they allow for mobile. The check it's self came from a John Lewis. Strictly Shutters Inc. Palm City, Fl. Then they said they would send out a smaller amount so the bank will take it. Don't fall for this.
