[email protected] Reports & Reviews (1)

I was first approached via email on 1/26/23, from a Henry Ann who said my resume on Career Builder as successfully reviewed and approved by GenesisCare company HR department and they believed I was a qualified candidate for many different positions that were all "at home" positions. They advised me to get a secure channel (SKYPE) for online business interview. And then contact Mr. Lazo at "[email protected]" with a interview code "GED-C-0131".

Once that was done, I had Skype conversations with Mr. Lazo to include a 3 hour interview, with me answering a lot of questions, and at end of that conversation I was told that I passed the interview and was offered the position of at home Data Entry paying $25.20 per hour, and during the training process was to be paid $20.00 per hour. I was told I would receive a check to cover the cost of purchasing a laptop and all the software needed to do the job. Mr. Lazo notified me with a "tracking #" for the package being sent to me with the check. I finally received the package on 2/3/23 with a letter from Mr. David Williamson, who was supposed to be the company's payment department. I notified Mr. Lazo that I received the package and he instructed me to go to my bank and deposit the check ($3,850.00) via ATM so that I could move to next step ... to make purchases of laptop and software needed for job. I told him I would have to go inside of my credit union to deposit the check as it was an out of state check and it would take too long to clear if deposited thru the ATM. So ... I did that .... only when inside, the teller said the check looked weird. Like there was only a bank name on upper left corner, where the company's name should be ... she ended up talking with a supervisor, then came back and called the bank ... only to find out there wasn't enough funds in the account to cover the amount of this check. The check was from (waukesha state bank, 151 E Saint Paul Ave, Waukesha, WI 53188. While in my credit union, Mr. Lazo was skype messaging me. I ended up going home with the check, then Skype messaged him back telling him all of above and told him i did not deposit this check. He asked me to "hold" while he taled to the payment department, saying they must have used the wrong account to write the check out.

Meanwhile, I called a lady at Manpower regarding a possible job ... I was talking to her about this whole thing, and she advised me that she just spoke to another woman who went through the same exact thing ... with same company, she got her identity stolen from her from these people. While talking to her, Mr. Lazo was Skype calling me ... he must have tried to reach me like 4 times within the half hour I was on the phone with her.

I messaged Mr. Lazo on 2/3/23 stating that I was told this whole thing is a SCAM, I notified the Police (which I haven't done yet) and I told him not to call or contact me again. I told him I was done! Since I wrote that message, I have not heard from him.

But, the very next day, 2/4/23 ... I received a FedEX package from (HONEYWELL PHOENIX, 21111 N 19th Avenue L20D5, Phoenix, AZ 85027), I don't know what this company has to do with the offer from Genesis Care, but in this package was another instruction letter (Fund Management Instructions) with another check in same amount of $3,850.00 instructing me to deposit in my account and forward them a copy of the deposit slip. This time the check was drawn from (FLORIDACENTRAL CREDIT UNION, 3333 Henderson Blvd, Tampa FL 33609). Same thing, the bank name was at top left corner of check, instead of the company name and same thing in Memo: Payment Approved, signed by same person, which I can't even figure out the name. Unbelievable! So, I sent email to this Mr. Williamson at "[email protected]" and said ... I guess Mr. Lazo did not tell you of the last message I sent to him .... so I said to Mr. Williamson that I know this whole thing is a SCAM and not to contact me again. So, I have not heard from either people as of this note.I just want to make sure that this exposes these people so that it doesn't happend again. I am monitoring my finances, just to make sure nothing else happens to me. I cant afford for anything else to happen to me. I'm 64, live alone, and am waiting to retire.

Thank you,
