I was contacted this morning by a woman claiming to be from Stats Canada and asked to speak with the business owners or president of the company. Stupidly, I answered multiple questions about our Corporate organization. I later looked up the telephone number and discovered this was not a call from Statistics Canada. It isn't clear what they are hoping to achieve with the information provided, but it's crystal clear they are misrepresenting themselves at Stats Can.
