My puppy was supposed to be shipped using this company. I got an email saying they had my puppy to confirm the address for delivery. Then got another email and phone call saying that my puppy needed to have a better crate for transport. When I told them I didn’t have the amount they wanted they agreed to take a lower price. So I sent the money to them using a American Express visa gift card. Once my puppy apparently arrived in PA I got another email and text message saying they needed more money because my puppy wasn’t up to date on all of his shoots and I needed to purchase a city permit for the puppy to be delivered to my doorstep. When o questioned them about this because my puppy had all the shoots that were needed for transport they said if I didn’t pay they would get the authorities involved saying that it was neglect for the puppy. They have now stopped contacting me and won’t answer my phone calls. All the money that they wanted was supposed to be 100% refunded upon my puppy’s arrival at my door.

We purchased a puppy from another state and this is the company the seller (probably fraudulent as well) chose to ship it to us. Before the puppy was even loaded on a plane, we received a call saying we had to "rent" a thermal kennel for $1300. We were told that we would get 99% of it back upon delivery of our puppy. At 2:18, we received another email asking for $970.00 for vaccinations and city permit for Jackson, TN. At 4:13 we received yet another email telling us that we needed to provide $1200.00 for insurance. We were told that this would be the last amount we would be asked to pay. At 7:52 we received another request for $720.00 for an activation fee for all of the charges (minus 1%) of the money that we had paid to this point. We were also supposed to get all but 1% of this amount back as well. We told them to send us an email stating this would be the last amount we would have to pay. Because they couldn't get their charges straight, our bank assumed the transactions were fraudulent and wouldn't let us take care of the last amount. Our puppy had to stay in TN instead of being transported to us the same day. We complied with the request and they followed up with another request for funds of $600.00. My husband talked to the person we had been dealing with and he said he would cover $200.00 of it if we would get him the $400.00 to pay for overnight care. They said if we didn't pay the money we would be reported for animal cruelty.

The initial amount was sent through Zelle. All other requests were sent with gift cards. I feel extremely dumb at this point, but I was told by the seller that this was a good company. Since I believe the seller was somehow involved in this, I will be filing a complaint about him next.

We have given a total of $4590.00.

Don't make the same mistake we did. This is not common and we have learned a very expensive lesson. Any guidance/help in trying to recover out money would be appreciated.

This company works with another company that sells dogs and promises to ship them for a crating fee of $950. They do not ship the animal, they do not reply to messages and they block you when you try to contact them back. The company they work with is gageaussies.com .
