I put my contact information into the website above in hopes to be contacted to purchase a cocker spaniel puppy. Original text messages are provided and I am reporting to my local police station because I feel I have put my family and home in danger of possible looting or kidnapping. I provided information about my family taking a beach trip on specific dates because I wouldn’t be able to receive the puppy until after. I stated that I have 2 children and that I am a foster mom. I also filled out paperwork (included) of my home address and the nearest major airport to my home. I was asked to send $900 via ApplePay and I told them I couldn’t send it until the next day. I never sent any money because I caught them before I had the opportunity. I was fooled up until I was researching the dog breed and came across an article about pet scammers. This website was exactly as described in the scammer warning blog. Types of payment, too good to be true prices and guarantees. If I asked direct questions about the puppy I barely got a response. I became very suspicious because they went ahead and filled out some paperwork for me to sign. They listed that the puppy was registered with AKC so I started digging with them and there was no trace of any of the contact information they provided.
