Phishing phone call for ordered diet pills Reports & Reviews (1)

- Rio Rancho, NM, USA

I received two phone calls today from local phone numbers. They spoke with Indian accents and the information about themselves and their company was inaudable. They claimed that I had a subscription that I failed to cancel a subscription for diet pills. I never purchased diet pills. They claimed that I owed them $185 for not cancelling this subscription and that they were unable to charge my Visa from my Chase bank account. I do not have a Chase bank account, nor have I changed my credit card information for several years. All real subscriptions that I pay for manage to get paid just fine. When I asked them to email me a copy of this invoice for the amount due they told me "because you purchased this online we cannot send you an email of the invoice", which makes zero sense. They gave me a phone number for their "customer service", so I called it from my company phone to which a woman answered the phone "hello", and appeared to be from India. I asked her what company she works for and she said that they are a third-party that works for many companies.
