Messaged through a old friends modified facebook profile. I thought it was someone I knew as we had been friends and have tons of mutual friends. Although after looking at my messages back and forth it was from a old friend on facebook and it appears they must have got hacked and modified the profile.

Got reached out to by one of her profiles on Facebook through messenger. Lucky winner bla bla bla I have lost both legs 21 surgeries in the last 5 years 3 strokes e of 26 year left me for a man I lost my house and all I owned was my wheelchairs prosthesis necklace tent cloths and a small check a month. One of her special agents calls me to verify number and to go over delivery but cost &250 card sent it he said he was locked but who ever used it 15 minutes later to buy shoes on line sent another $250 then started getting certified letters notarized letter and documents some from court’s IRS GOVERNMENT HER BUSINESS and the FBI. To. Get fedx to deliver the govt pass a new law that not to be convoyed for money lauoand fraud you had to have this verity and protection for you and deliver that was $850 stupid me made phone calls to the what I thought were offices and officials that were on the papers but it was all them I sold everything I had spent2 disability check in a row went without blood thinn shot got clots pit in hospital for 2 weeks. These are some sorry people but I almost died and as I type Patricia is emailing me from a Google email right now. Going to run and answer it kinda don’t have no one friends or family so talk with who ever it is gives me something to do. Don’t fall for this have a GOD fearing blessed day friends.

I was contacted by Patricia on Instagram, she said I was a winner, she asked me for my name age phone number and all that information, I knew that my information was already public knowledge due to what I do for work. So I thought nothing of it as much. She then gave me a WhatsApp number to contact and that person requested the same information to look me up and I did then the person requested $300, then like $50 then $20 and then Patricia and this agent or asking me to open up a Bank of America account. They wanted a bank account to be opened and they said so they could transfer me money and what's opened they said let them know right away. I obviously stopped. They both are frantically messaging me now and I am no longer talking to them. I hope somebody stops these people.

Today August 18, 2022 I received this text:

Hello this is Mrs Patricia Busking the Powerball winner of $393 Million in Powerball Millions Jackpot, I am donating $100,000 to 20 randomly individuals, if you get this message then your number was selected after a spin ball. I have spread most of my wealth over a number of charities and organizations. I have voluntarily decided to donate the sum of $100,000 to you as one of the selected 20 peoples, Kindly get back to Mr Bruce Harrison the Agent in charge of your winnings activation and delivery on this number now (302) 272-5971

I proceeded to go online copy and paste others contacted by this scammer and texted them to the scammer.

Well someone is at it again! Sadly as another person above described if she (Patricia Busking) was to really do this you would think she’d want to do it in person. I know I definitely would.

This is not the 1st time I’ve been sent things like this and while we all would love for it to be true, it is not.

Also while it’s not the winners fault others use their names and notoriety to scam people unfortunately and sadly some will not think it through and succumb to be taken advantage of! I only right this to inform others to be aware and always research before giving any information about yourself to unknown people! I usually do not write regarding my situational awareness of these scams but have read so many who fall prey to these scam’s if I can help only one person then it’s well worth it!

Please never give information out if you are unsure always ask friends and family to assist you, especially the elderly! Please be safe, happy and healthy in this crazy world and do not fall prey to these monstrous people!

I’m in CA, Patricia lives in MI and she won in 2017! While the internet is part of why and how these scammers exist it is also a wonderful example of where to find information regarding these issues and I thank this site for allowing us to post for others to get the word and information out there regarding these scam situations!

P.S. my condolences to Patricia her family and anyone who falls prey to these scams!

He contacted me on Instagram. Then he said I won a hundred thousand dollars. He then asked for my address and phone number. After that, I saved the entire conversation from his blocked page.

I was contacted on Twitter by a person who identified them self as Patricia buskings power ball winner and she was giving away money like a fool I played along and fallow there instructions they lead me on for 2 days promise different things saying they couldn't send link till the following day. Then I started getting things on my phone pop up some one was trying to use my ID on line contacting the social security using my name the social security contacted me when there system threw up a red flag they people a out to try and ruin people's life

I received a text message at around 7 30am Saturday March 5th to my cell number which I have just recently received due to my other line being stolen. The person claimed to be Mrs Patricia Busking the mega lottery winner and said my number had been selected by spin ball. I was one of 100 to receive 50,000 in the us. I was asked to contact her agent David Bobby at 720 599 0972. I have not and do not plan on responding.

Patricia busking picked me the other day on Instagram to receive $100,000.00 to help my family . Nobody ever picked someone out of the phone book to give a small fortune two , why now through Instagram? If I was to give away $100 k cash . I would only do it in person . So I could see what I just did ! If I had it to give away ,. I wouldn’t fedex a box of cash . With out enjoying the experience of making a difference in a stranger’s life . Who would enjoy flushing a $100k down the toilet . So I googled her name and here’s some picks of the latest scam Instagram is promoting on there platform and this isn’t the a once in a wile thing here it’s a daily thing scam after scam from bitcoin to porno and most of the people are from over seas . Twitter has a similar problem . The Wendy should be called instascam. !

I have been contacted by at least 20 different people on Instagram claiming to be her with this exact same scam. I got screenshots of all their Instagram profiles..

Not only her but Julie Leach as well among others . The place is crawling with scammers ...
