Received several daily calls from ************ from company calling themselves Pacific Investments claiming to have bought debts from 10+ years ago and were trying to collect. After finally confronting because of multiple daily calls, got vague answers with no company address or concrete information: just threats and warnings of lawsuits etc. if not settled. After researching the company, I can find no registration anywhere, there is a very shady website that appears occasionally associated with the phone number, that none of the hyperlinks work and again with no address or concrete information (just basically the phone number). This, I think not so coincidently falls in line with having my identity stolen in December 2021. There is no direct link between the two, just very circumstantial.
