I was on Instagram and a guy named John Malone reached out to me and indicated that I won the Mega Million sweepstakes and said that I would need to provide them with 2 money orders in order to get my winnings. I was told to go to Walmart and get a money order for $700 and a money order for $400. I did as I was asked but by luck Walmart was able to retrieve my money orders and send them back to me. The only thing that I lost was the 2 payments of $25.50 that I had to pay to rush the payments.

My 88 yr old mom received phone call from Dennis Baker on 6.12.19 that she had won $8.5 mil & a Mercedes, which she got to pick out the color. He said he would come to her house on Fri 6.14 to deliver the car and pick up a check for $750 - which are the taxes on her winnings.

She called me and told me about it. I called the ScamPulse.com and the local police. I also plan to be at her house today when he supposedly will arrive, just to make sure nothing happens or call 911 when / if he shows.

I received this in the mail and believe it is a scam. Just wanted to warn others. I will also contact the Postal Inspector.
