Robo calls from many different phone numbers. Says your number has been chosen by Marriott hotel for a free nights stay. I have opted to have my number removed from their call list. The calls come in to my home phone and my cell phone. 1 time I pressed 1 to connect to called, got a foreign man's voice, I ask can you please remove my numbers from your call list, I am not interested in travel or a free stay at Marriott hotel. The man said NO. I CALL YOU BACK AT MIDNIGHT, and hung up. The calls never stop. I block numbers on my cell phone, and have reached my limit of blocked calls. How do I stop this harassment?

Keep getting calls from people saying they are Marriott Hotels and that they are calling because I won a free night stay or some other prize because of a past stay at the hotel it has been over 15 yr and I have called the London hotel and they indicated that this is not them. They want information for a credit card I do not have they call from different numbers about 5 times a day at random times.

A call from a Charlotte NC phone number called me and said I won a discounted trip to Mexico. My phone accidentally hung up and I tried calling back to discover that the number was not in service. Don't give them YOUR info. This is a SCAM.

- Muncie, IN, USA

Picked up phone and was told that I earned a free night stay at a Marriott hotel, because I recently stayed there and put my phone number in a drawing. Asked to hit '1' if I want to claim prize, or '2' to add me to the 'Do not call list.' I hit 1, then it took me to a person who obviously is not American (I'm guessing Indian) asking if I was over 28. I said 'no' and she said 'thank you have a nice day.' They will try to scam you if you say 'YES' so just hang up and don't risk it!

- Santa Rosa, CA, USA

I received a robocall from Marriott Hotels saying to press "1" if I am interested in an all-inclusive additional night stay. We recently booked with Marriott so it seemed legitimate. Once I did, a man with asked me if I was at least 28. He was difficult to understand and spoke with an accent. I said "yes" the second time he asked and then he hung up. I called back the number but it went to voicemail. The area code is the same as my local area code.

- Thousand Oaks, CA, USA

They have called dozens of times and ask if I am over 28. However, today they asked to confirm my area code and finally got the damn yes from me. They make their phone numbers look familiar and call from a new number several times a day.

Tricked to say yes
