Do NOT call them

I called and got a rude, passive/aggressive liar on the phone. The rude man hung up on me after I asked for a supervisor.
When I first called I was told to provide my zip code and then I would be connected to lawyers in my area. I was ready to jot down lawyers and their contact information. The rude man then wanted what he called basic information like my full name addresses etc. I provided my first name and asked him how that information was germaine to me getting the contact information he stated I would get He thought my first name was germaine and then asked my last name. It was back and forth. I told him my first name and as kk Ed for at least 3 contacts. He refused then he said it's required. Ok, why is it required? He refused to answer and then started being rude and dismissive. I asked him to step off the plate and get a supervisor on the phone he refused then said he would then said it will be 20 min wait then said one will call you. I said no and demanded to speak to one while I was on the phone and the rude [censored] hung up. It smells and sounds like a scam. Thankfully I didn't get to where they wanted all my information and credit info. Oh and the phone kept clicking with alot of noise in the background.

Fraud

I had the exact same experience. Was charged a $1.90 and told I would get the list. They never sent it. I called back they claimed the email was typed in wrong. Then I noticed an extra $2.90 coming out of my account from another website idsafeus.com. I went to it and called the number there to complain. The exact same person was on the other line from the 2 calls to legal connection, but was now using the name Jonathan. He tried to convince me I agreed to it and I very adamantly said no and to refund that amount. I called the legal connection again and complained, let them know this felt like a con and that I still never received the email. I forced the man to cancel and told him to refund my money. He said he could cancel but I could not get the money back, then asked if I still wanted the welcome packet since I had paid. I made him send it while on the phone with me. They send it through an automated system so he had to “manually” send it. This time I received it and he promised to send me the list of attorneys since I had already paid. I tried to log in but it did not work. There was a different number on this particular page 1-800-290-1499. Someone different answer but was able to access the things the guy had put it. I only called the number to test if it was a scam or not. The man gave me strong push back. I scolded him for going after people who were looking for help. Demanded my money back and that all of my info be removed. And I warned him if there are any new charges I will be contacting them again. He became rude and said “we don’t need people calling about this kinds of issues, you won’t be seeing any future charges”. I snapped at him “I’m sure you don’t” and was not shy about my sarcasm and that “I don’t need to worry.” I let him know how much I had learn about the law after my misconduct ordeal and this was flat out a con. The only emails I ever received on their own accord were the cancelation confirmations. And I only received the welcome packet email because I told him flat out I was going to stay on the phone with him until I received it. I did get my money back, and when I tried the exact same google search that had led me to them twice, they suddenly were NOWHERE on the search. This is 100% a scam. I have learned to push them and point out what they are doing that proves they are fake and every time, even with scam calls, they do everything to get off the phone as quickly as possible or turn hostile. True legal professionals don’t speak the way this line has trained all of its “representatives” with a script to talk. This is definitely fake and taking advantage of people in desperate need.

I have also checked out their supposed LinkedIn page and the number listed is 800-203-0422. I called the number; it gave half a ring then said goodbye and disconnected. If it was not in service, it would have said that immediately. My number is flagged in their system now to not allow my call to make it through any of their connected numbers.

Yesterday I was online searing for free legal advise or lawyers for my son. Referral service for an attorney. Legal Connection came up in my Google search. I called them at 800-269-7170. I do not have their address. The man that answered requested $1.90 to send the list. I provided my debit card number. They were to send the list of attorneys right away. I never received it the list. He was also trying to get me to agree to take an additional $19.99 a month out of my checking account. He was trying to get me say yes. I said no. This was for a free gift card for restaurants. I felt uncomfortable. Why should I have to pay if something is free. I said no. I wanted to cancel. I hung up. He called me back from phone number 619-658-7943. He was very rude to me. Insulted me. I said to cancel. He said you don't tell me what to do. He also said I got you now. I hung up. I contacted my bank.
