On 5/20/2022, I ordered a Traeger Grill from Heaveshop.com for $129.59. I received a confirmation e-mail and paid through PayPal. After a couple days, I checked on shipping status, and the web site said not shipped, but PayPal showed a tracking number. The tracking number was run, and it stated it was delivered to a mailbox. The grill weighed 145 lbs. and according to USPS where the tracking number was from, they don't ship anything over 70 lbs. I went to the post office, and the item came back to a different address in town, 4.5 miles from my home, and the item weighed 4.7 ounces. Obviously not a grill. I submitted a complaint to PayPal, and they found in favor of the seller due to "valid tacking information" I resubmitted and spoke online with a rep, and they reopened the case. I had screenshots of the item and cost, which matched what I paid through PayPal, and the specifications including weight. I also sent them a screenshot of the USPS website stating they don't ship anything over 70 lbs. I also submitted screen shots of the building located at the zip +4 where the 4.7 ounce item was shipped, and a screen shot of my location, and a screenshot of the map and distance between the 2 locations. Despite all of this evidence, PayPal again ruled against my claim, stating there was a valid tracking ID. I then contacted them again, and they refused to work with me, so I filed my complaint with the BBB. I am awaiting the results from the ScamPulse.com before filing a fraud complaint with my credit card company as a last step. Do not fall for discount grill ads on Facebook, or other social media.
