Scott Yancey - watch out, will want money sent Zelle. When I mentioned I will pick up and pay in person - then demanded a deposit was needed to hold dog. Shipping via Air was included in price - I thought to good to be true > the website is now www.worthshihtzupups appears to be another name. The name for the Zelle payment was >>> Email: [email protected], Names: Jomo Laurencin - what happened to Yancey.

David scammed me as well. Looking to collect through Louis Hernandez. Sending me fake invoices for ferry rides almost 5,000. Disgusting. My bank flagged the transaction as fraud. What a shame that people can do this to innocents like us. Disgusting. Stay away from Gracious Shihtzu.

He changes the business name and it’s now Gracious Shihtzu Puppies.
Scam. Says the same thing he did to these others. I also fell in love with Mimi.
Do not believe this person.
He’s a con artist and he will take your money and not deliver a puppy.
David Cooper keeps changing the name of the business

Requested payment via Cash Apps only, Zelle account was under a Marvin Ryan, not David Cooper (owner) and not under company name. Also, Apple Pay flagged as fraudulent. The puppies on their website never change (only some of their names do) and they all (somehow) remain 12 weeks of age. Like months later….

When I shared my doubts and asked for more proof of legitimacy, “David” stated he was a Christian and promised on his “kids life” that he could be trusted (but never provided what I asked for.)

Pretty shameful and quite unnerving. I pray he does find (his was back to) God and stop his deceitful ways.

Sorry but always ask for legitimate phone and address and proof of business no matter what then google them or call Bbb. I knew off the bat he was fake no phone no address and a foreign voice not look right. He won’t reply back so fake. Also when u send money do it by credit card that way u dispute them never zelle [censored]. Or cashapp like hookers do rip u off etc.

Beware of this scammer by the name of Scott Yancey. My girls wanted a puppy for their birthdays I went online and found DAMA SHIH TZU PUPPIES; we looked through the site and found a beautiful puppy by the name of MIMI, we all fell in love with her; we contacted the information through the website. Scott Yancey responded with the information about the dog; at the same time he was very pushy asking us to sign the contract and send him the $800 through ZELLE, my husband then became skeptical and ask me to do some research to see if this is was legit before sending the money. Then we stumbled with these complaints from previous buyer; I contacted Scott Yancey, who then sent a long messages saying that he is Christian he would never try to scam me. Be aware people before sending your money. After I contacted him via email and let him I would not proceed with the transaction he then replied back with this long messages “ I do understand your reason for being skeptical considering the kind of world we live in these days. But I will like to let you know that I am a father of 3 beautiful girls and I will never be happy to see any of my babies hurt in any way and as such I will never intentionally hurt someone’s child. More to that, I am from a very big Christian family my relationship with my God matters a lot to me and I will never put that to jeopardy for any amount of money. So please I promise you across my heart and on my kid’s life that if you trust me with your money, you will get the puppy. I am not out for your money, all I need is a good and caring home for my baby that’s all. SO if you are interested then I will advise that you trust me and let’s proceed”.
Blessed.
Blessed.

Guy contacts my relative, wants to sell her a puppy. Dug into this further, first red flag was a total sense of you have to do this now and via electronic payment method etc... look over the emails, the contract they send you is total rubish.
This guy needs to be deleted from the internet in a big way.

I found the dialogue to be unusual. These folks will ignore requests to meet the puppy by video and will push for shipping/delivery. if you insist on picking up, they quickly turn to pushing for a deposit. Stay clear...

Hymmm. This evening, I received an email from Scott Yancey concerning pictures of shih tzu pups being sold via a website listed as Elian Shih Tzu Pups. I'm glad my daughter in law found your complaint. I didn't move forward with the purchase. This is all too disappointing.

I had the same exact experience with them or him lol. I was lucky to find this site or I would of list 950 Canadians. I'm very mad at this guy who uses people's love of dogs against them to get so e extra money. He should be ashamed of his self.

- Apache Junction, AZ, USA

We lost our Shihtzu a couple of months ago. My husband wanted to get me a new one for my birthday today. He was looking for a puppy online. My husband found GreatShihtzuPuppies on Facebook. I sent an email to them. Scott Yancey emailed us back. He sent us a contract to complete. We were interested in Asher. We talked to him on the phone and texted. He sent me a video of the puppy, it looked like a high rise in teh background. He sounded older and foreign, and had issues with the language. On 3.6.21 and 3.7.21 I paid him through Zelle in two different transactions: [email protected] and [email protected]. The address on the contract is 18323 Marcella Rd, Cleveland, OH 44119. Today, TNT Shipping asked for an additional $1300 for shipping and $200 for a rabies shot. They said he needed a safe carrier. They said it was refundable. I told them he was too young for a rabies shot, and I wouldn't pay for shipping as my friend would pick up the dog in person. I called the Cleveland Police Dept to ask if they would go with my friend to pick up the puppy. They tried to tell me it was a scam. My friend went to the blue house but no one came to the door.
