Global Trade and Consultation Inc. Reports & Reviews (11)

Hello everyone, I am here doing the same as you all. I sensed this was a scam. I have the same thing going on, but I have yet to send this Amanda person any of my personal information (SSN, bank account, etc.). I could not believe this was real. I also searched the business address in Torrance, California, and like someone else said earlier, it is indeed a small warehouse with no company logo that I could tell. It all seemed too good to be true. According to what you are all saying, I guess it is too good to be true. These reviews really helped me alot. Thank you.

This Amanda Scott contacted me from email stating that I put in an application for employment from indeed. I have filled out numerous applications on Indeed, but i did not recall this company. First red flag was she wanted me to send her my resume and cover letter: I was thinking , but i did send it to her. I'm including all the emails sent to me from this lady.

........Are you able to visit our office August 1?.............. (BIG RED FLAG)

Now why would you schedule a meeting the day I am flying out. This person is a total scam. Please followup on this company.

3 weeks ago I am also seaching for a job at indeed and I came across this job opening. Like everyone here I did what I was asked to provide and got hired and turned in all the forms that was sent as an attachments because I trusted that indeed will not post this hob if it was not legit. Finding out now that I am wrong

. After sending all the forms with my information I called to follow up but it was all recording. I was also told through email that my manager will be Ms. Ashley Yann. But, No information about her, bk email nor contact info was provided to call Ashley. So I emailed Amanda again and told her that please stop If this was a scam
. I just got out from prison and just got sent home confinement from Feds Halfway House in Denver (South Federal). I still have papers to kill and I am starting a new life after years of incarceration.
I praying that this Amanda Scott will stop doing this to us, the reason why we are in indeedd is because e are hardworking people. I am a father of 4. I just want provide and have a decent job.
Amanda Scott I knkw you are reading this. Please stop. Everything you do in life has its consequences. Good and Bad. (KARMA). Please stop. I am humbly begging you to stop f'kng with hardworking middles class people.

Sincerely,
Rodrigo Gomez

I just got scammed from other company and dealing with that issue. Just received texts and emails, about a position they collect my information from Zip recruiter and Indeed. none of those apps have their company in (Global Trade and Consultation).
Because I'm going with the issue with the other one, I learned my lesson.

This it person poses for Global Trade Consultation's should be punished to the max, for everything she done to everyone she ask for all their personal stuff. I have got involved with my husband application and all the reports and personal information she requested, saying this job was so high demand . And stating it would pay $69,000 a year and benefits and want to fly him to CÁ to meet with them. I have turn all this over to DA and police which the detective on it as well.
It’s ashamed that people waist people time and effort and knowing they need Mgnt job, to support their family. Can’t wait till I find you and make your family pay dearly for all what you did to my husband. Also the real company needs to get involved with with this so called Amanda and press charges against it to the fullest.Donnie Franklin—wife

Also they ask my husband for bank information, credit reports, passport I said that is a scam I told my husband then, he’ll no I started looking at all the thingy she ask , and it’s like the other man said it’s SCAMMERS

I'm experiencing this as well. Please message me.

Hi I'm Blake brackett. I went through this same stuff as well. I have received Amanda Scott's emails but days apart they got all my information from banking account ssn credit report and everything. From the very beginning I felt my gut instinct saying this is bad don't do it. But I really needed the money to support my family as my wife can't get a job nor government support from her illness and we have 2 kids with money issues. To make matters worse I never gotten an interview and they said it would be best to meet in person and they offered a flight out and I accepted. But they never sent me put there to interview me. Let alone their phone number when you called sent you straight to auto service saying all callers are busy and thats not what a real companies land line does. It has people to answer you. The whole thing is sketchy. Also their website isn't legit either. When you go to the maps and search their address it shows a small warehouse building and a closed permanently business. This company is not legit it is a major scam getting people's information and never hiring them. I was supposed to hear from another person but never did. This indeed job request is a major scam. Gave them everything they needed but I got nothing in return. Instead of using indeed or anything that isn't flex jobs. Please people use flex jobs yes you pay monthly for it but it checks if the jobs are legit before posting them on their site to avoid scams like this one. Don't use any other job searching site even if it's free. Just go use flex jobs site.

Hey, I've just fell victim to this situation as well. Gave them all of my information from social security to bank account information. When they called me today they said they would send company funds to my personal account, that's when I finally noticed a red flag.

Have they done anything to you yet, open any cards under your social or scammed you of any money from your account?

Mind you businesses don't ask for credit reports or anything these people did. Also businesses do not put funds onto your personal credit cards or banking accounts. That's another red flag. Considering they first told me that they would be sending out a business card with funds on it and had to be sold within 48 hours!? What the heck kinda mess is that?! Then they say something different. Nothing makes since. But these scammers over the internet are getting smarter and we humans are becoming more distrusting. The better they get the more we become educated on the scammers and their ways. My wife's mother got scammed recently like this and her mother got her bank account closed do to fraudulent money checks. Mind you it was real checks and real money but it was considered money laundering. Highly illegal. Don't reply to Amanda or anyone else she sends your way. These people are scamming you and receiving all your information. Don't be a fool like I was. Listen to your gut. Not your ego.

I was looking for employment so when this company reached out to me as a purchasing manager (what I was applying for) i did not suspect anything. Amanda Scott reached out to me asked for my resume I sent it and 2 days later they said they wanted me on board, sent me an offer letter but didn't say anything about an interview. I received the onboarding packet with a direct deposit form, W4. I9 for to fill out. I did and waited two weeks, but they completely stopped responding to me. they got my social and routing number and acct number. :(

I’m currently going through the process with Amanda and it felt awkward, made me start searching to see if it was a scam myself.
