G-Marketplace Global Marketplace Reports & Reviews (13)

Seems G-Marketplace has changed their name to P-Marketplace. My experience was exactly as described above. Same emails verbatim. Avi Grossman was referenced as my "supervisor". They locked me out one day before my "probationary period" ended. Nobody has returned my calls or emails. I handled 5 packages including car audio equipment, clothing, apple watch, coffee maker, and a gold bar. I figured it was way too good to be true, but I gave it a shot. Hopefully someone can put a stop to this scam.

I got scammed also. But I filed a report with the Los Angeles Attorney General and a report with the Federal Trade Commission. I did the work and got cut off and blocked during my 4th week. So upset over this company. They emailed me about this job. Everything at first looked legit duo I said ok let's see how this job goes. During my 3rd week they became very pushy and rushing me to get packages out when they haven't even sent me the outgoing postage. I started to become skeptical and started asking a lot of questions. I was told that I was doing a very good job, so during week four I was confused when they closed my login and went MIA. I have reached out multiple times through phone, email smh.

I was scam as well, I randomly got an email for the job and thought this would be a great way to make money from home. Did it for a month then I got cut off when I asked about payment. I wish I did more research on the company beforehand. I just didn't see much information about them and thought it was a new company. I should have suspected something when the few conversation I did have with an actual person were quick and short. And all the the text messages came from different blocked/spam numbers. I don't know if going to the police would help in any way. I believe this is a illegal company buying goods with stolen credit cards and using individual household to ship goods for overseas trade.

It’s a scam. They will make you deliver random names with random products to God who Knows. Then, they will delete your account and block your number after three and a half weeks.

Et al,

Sorry to hear about all of your collective experiences. Let’s cut to the chase: this is an unfortunate issue. The problem signing over anything that is faxed, emailed or documented could be altered upon reception of the recipient. Meaning, you may have signed 3 pages but the 4th page could have the “agreement,” which could include words describing no payments, job ending etc... Outside of postage and your time, was their any funds that changed hands?

Starts with an email about how they found your resume through an agency and ask you if you're interested. Upon responding with interest, they will say that they tried to call you multiple times concerning the job offer, hoping you call them back at that particular time so they can assure you its a real business and get you to agree to a offer letter sent by email. Offering 45,000 salary by MONTHLY payments. I did the work for one month then that was the last I heard. The job is escrow assistant - receiving and delivering packages (which had random names, re-used on some packages). They're suppose to be a escrow between buyer and seller.

Went through the same thing. They were supposed to pay me today and instead blocked me and deleted my log in to their site. I've tried emailing and calling many times but the numbers are disconnected. Today I went to their address and the unit number they have on their website does not exist at the office building they claim to be at. We have been bamboozled.

When I ask about completing the 1099 they called me immediately and told me that I would have to wait until it’s time for payroll. My gut felt like something was wrong. They owe me for the packages that I did process. $180 plus the salary.

Thank you for your time and attention.

I inquired further, and got messages from a second e-mail: [email protected]

A "Mark Fisher" claiming to be their hiring manager said they tried to contact me a few times, and then sent me terms of employment. I said I wouldn't sign until I spoke with someone. Never got a call, and both numbers provided go to voicemail boxes with names that don't match anyone who had contacted me. Further, their web domain was registered just a month ago, despite having ads dating back to 2018.

Definitely a scam.

I was contacted via a cluster email saying

"This is a Human Resources manager.

We came upon your resume through an employment agency.

We would like you to try a position: Escrow Associate.

The basic payment is $3750 per month + bonuses.

Available in: US (Any City)"

I first thought it was a scam, so I dug deeper and discovered there are no points of contact for the contacts they have listed on their website. They have been repeatedly trying to get me to sign their contract, which says there will be no payments until the first month of work is completed. This seems odd and most likely they will disappear after the month. Please beware of G-Marketplace.
