Person posts on Facebook as an employee of er2 image group, says they want to pay you to advertise for one of their clients by driving around with a vinyl wrap they they pay for for $200/week. They send you a check for the amount of the wrap plus the first two weeks of pay. You the are to send part of the money as a wire transfer and the rest as a check to the person who is supposed to apply the wrap. During this time the check is discovered to be bad. And the bank takes their money back while the scam artist escapes with however much you have sent to them.

My wife had shown me an ad on a Facebook buy and sell for wrapping vehicles as advertising. I had inquired, and they asked for my name, address, phone number, what I do for a living, and what type of vehicle I drive. I considered these reasonable as I would be withholding an advertisement. After my initial email, a few days later I was informed that I qualified for the wrap. They had announced a $200/week payout and that I take the check they send me, deposit it, pull out 400 for 2 weeks payment and 30 for gas. The time I would be available next week for the specialist to come to me and work on my vehicle and send a copy of the deposit form I receive from my bank. Also a confirmation on my name and address. The specialist coming to me was a red flag as I live in Canada, it's winter, and you need a clean vehicle to apply a wrap to a car. The next red flag was me sending them a copy of my deposit slip with my banking information. I was also contacted by a text message from the "Wendy Amanda" who I had originally sent the email to.
