I am senior, can I get the money back - $999.00 5/09/2022

Paid £799 for 5 year cover with Envision Securities. Thought I was dealing directly with Microsoft initially. Tried to ring their Tech support and Customer Service to take advantage of a Monthly check and tune up that they promised and can't get through to speak to anyone. No answerphone where you could leave a message and they don't answer emails either.

Unable to get in touch with technicians for monthly security check ups. Paid 399.00 for two years, and its been five months.

it was a misunderstanding and they have resolved the problems. I have been with them from last 2 years.

I had a similiar experience when my computer started making alarming noises and warnings came up. I called the number on the screen and was speaking to a technician from Envision Securities. Anyway, I was told that my computer was being hacked and they needed to take over and fix the problem. The problem was 799.00 which after I paid, I believe that it was a mistake to do. I just want to make sure I was not taken over by the price and that I really needed all that fixing done on the computer.

My sister received an unsolicited phone call on the 13th of March from a person saying her computer was vulnerable and she needed up to date security for it. She wasn't sure what they were talking about or how to fix it. She got so "flustered" at what he was telling her, she allowed him full access to her computer. Supposedly installing McAfee and other products that would guarantee her security. And that it was cheaper to pay 3 years. He said he couldn't take a credit card and had to have a bank transfer. She gave him her account data. When I found out about this on the 27th, I contacted the bank and closed the account to keep from her account being drained. I looked on her computer to see what was installed. McAfee was not installed. (I put Norton on it 2 years ago.)What was installed was Team Manager, which activates the camera. It is a "Peeping Tom" program that turns the camera on when they want to. I removed it and got a phone call asking if there was a problem. I said "no" and hung up. We closed her account, contacted business and direct deposit people all over this. All this taking advantage of an elderly person for $399.99. We have still have no idea what "services" they performed and I AM NOT SATISFIED OR OVERWHELMED BY THEIR SERVICES.
