Elite Global Contractors LLC Reports & Reviews (2)

Similar to what others have reported about this business. My husband (and janitorial business owner) was contacted by Louis Martinez of "Escape Artist Real Estate" to provide contracted work with "Elite Global Contractors, LLC" and a contact named Maxwell Alvarez, both based out of Los Angeles, CA. We were told we needed a 5 million dollar insurance policy to participate but that they would cover the additional if we didn't have the total needed. We were told the contract was for 27 houses to be cleaned. $8000 was to be deposited upfront for us to start work and the remaining $8000 would be deposited upon completion. They would only work with certain banks, so if we didn't have an account with one of the banks they used, we would need to open an account with on of their preferred banks (all mainstream: Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc). We go to the point of accepting the work and asked for the contract. They told us we would need to pay them, by electronic deposit, $900, in advance before they would send us the contact to get started. My husband called Maxwell Alvarez back (909-267-6789) and told him that if they wanted $900 from us upfront, they should just deduct the cost from the original $8000 that was going to be deposited. Maxwell told my husband that they don't work like that and my husband told Maxwell that he would not be depositing the $900 and Maxwell hung up on my husband. We tried to call back and were immediately hung up on again. There is one other name associated with this and that is their "Partner for Spanish" Roberto Carmona.

I was contacted via phone (206-792-5819) by Amir Gomez from Elite Global Contractors LLC, concerning my new business in cleaning services. He said he was looking for a company who can provide service for 33 homes from an investor called Kenny Jones (407-602-8483) right away. I told him that I was still structuring my business and he said he did his research of my company and everything looked fine except the insurance wich they required to be $5million but they could provide for me through Colony Insurance for $2,800 and I needed to pay $1,400 upfront. He offered the contract of the 33 homes for $20,700 with half of it upfont to me and the rest upon completion. Amir asked me to call the investor to finalize all the business details; when I called the voicemail was completely unprofessional coming from an “investor”.

Amir sent me the contract via email using [email protected].

I checked all the numbers online and the names and found that it was all part of a scam that others have fallen for before. Hope someone can do something about this so it doesn’t happen again, specially for people like me who are trying to start a new business and are trying to do good for society.
