Received an e-mail asking if my time share was still for sale. I replied "Yes". Was told they would purchase for $3,000. Supposedly they mailed a $500 deposit and then because she couldn't get hold of her broker, she went to her bank and got a certified check for $2,800 which I should receive. But then I was told I should send $2,300 to the broker, Samuel Banet who will work with First American title transfer company who would be handling the closing. I was also advised that the balance of my timeshare would be held in escrow.

I want to sell my time share, but all of this sounds very fishy to me.
