The email said I maid a purchase in the amount of $329.99 for a smartwatch invoice#719321-GM ordered threw ebay I don't ordered threw ebay

They posed as ebay and I bought a cell phone case, never reason the person I spoke to was rude and kept hanging up on me

I made the contact on Market place for a trailer I was interested in for$1000. After several email exchanges she sent what appears to be instructions for paying ebay with gift cards. We will not pay with gift cards so assuming it's a scam. I provided my name, email address, home address. and phone number only.

Last year, I found a camper on Craigslist. I emailed them and they emailed me back. He said he was in the military in another state, but the camper was in Columbus. He told me to contact eBay concerning the 1975 camper. He had me buy $1200 worth of gift cards from Giant Eagle. The clerk did not ask me why I was buying so many gift cards. There is a woman working with him. I called and spoke to a foreign sounding man and I gave him the security numbers from the back of the gift cards. My fiance told me it was a scam, but I told him it was eBay and I order from them all the time. I filed a police report.

I tried to send a product I bought from ebay back. I found a customer service number via a google search. I was told to go to the nearest pharmacy or place that would sell me $1000 worth of buy ebay giftcards. I cam home and said I only got $900 worth. He took a picture of my ID. Wrote my ID down. Took my social security number and took a picture of my dad's debit card.

I went on offer up too purchase a trailer for my business. The seller stated she was in the military and her husband died and she wanted too rid herself of storage fees. She said I would receive invoice by email from Ebay,Also they would be the one handling the transaction.

There was an offer on Facebook that we inquired about. A lady claimed her husband died of Covid recently and she was selling his bike but using eBay to collect “money back guarantee” payment. The email from eBay looked legit, except that it asked to email my eBay card numbers in order to purchase the bike. This sounded like a scam. I called what I thought was eBay, they told me what I had gotten was indeed a scam and they would get my money back in my bank account that I had used to purchase the eBay cards, in other words they would give me a refund. This phone number for eBay that I found on google must have been a fake number- turned out to be a scam. I gave them the numbers to my eBay cards so they could check the balance and refund my money- only to find out they used my eBay cards, they took control of my phone and tried getting my bank account information until I finally hung up.

I got on ebay to try to purchase a truck. I sent $900 through an ebay card. The truck was supposed to be shipped within 24-48 hours. I could ship it back if I wasn't happy with it. I received a shipping charge of $700 that I wasn't informed about. I have the contact information for the people I was purchasing through. I contacted them and they said for an additional $400 they would send me the truck within 24 hours.

$1390 Xgame being charged to my eBay account. I called 800-872-9480. I verified my pin number. They wanted me to download software. I googled a help number for eBay, I found two different numbers; both scams because one wanted to know if there was a drug store nearby and the other wanted me to download software.

She was selling a truck on Facebook and we emailed back and fourth because I wanted to buy it. She almost got me she asked me for personal info like my address. She went into in depth personal conversation by explaining everything the whole process gaining my trust so that I would fall for the scam. Luckily I went with my gut feeling and Google searched her name to end up finding out she was a scammer.

On approximately 6/18/2021 my mother and I were scammed by someone stating they were selling a truck, and we had to use E-Bay gift cards. We notified E-Bay of the scam and who the person is and the card numbers. E-Bay had known that the cards had been used, and by whom. The company stated that they would be able to refund the monies once we: filed a police report, filed with the online scammers website and then report the information back to E-Bay.

Upon submitting all of the prerequisites, as instructed, E-Bay stated that the cards had been used and they could not help us to retrieve the money that we had been scammed out of, $2200.00.

We were lied to by the company, and the company was paid by the scammers, because they spent the cards with E-Bay. Long story short, E-Bay profited from our loss with no remorse or consideration to help us in these dire times.

I tried to look up the phone number for ebay online and found the number 806-531-6316. I called to update my address, and they said they could help me. But when they looked up my account, they said that it had been hacked. They told me that they would help put some security on my account. During that process, they texted me a link to a google apps market teamviewer from phone number 806-370-8990. I'm not sure what they did while on my phone, but they accessed my debit card account and sent my money over to bitcoin. Now I can't reach anyone.

A month or so ago I wanted to check with eBay regarding an order I placed. I called a phone number found online thinking it was eBay customer service. The person I spoke with told me to download an app and punch in some numbers. I gave them my checking account info and they drained almost $1000 from my account.

I needed to get in touch with eBay. My order did not show up. I Googled eBay and came up with phone number 866-961-9253. I called the number. The person that answered wanted $50 or $100 in eBay cards. This was the only way to fix this. I would buy the card and give the passcode. I was trying to reach eBay. This did not seem right to me. I did not buy the eBay card or send money.

Ebay had a refund due back to ScamPulse.com consumer. When she called Ebay customer assistance number she got Jordan who sent her a link for Cash App and got her to do do stuff on her phone using her daughter's Cash App resulting in scammer being able to see money in both cash app accts and in bank acct. The mother got suspicious and hung up. She discovered that balance in Cash App and $589 in her personal bank account were gone. The scammer intercepted her Ebay call and knew she was due a refund of $104. He used the name Jordan and called back and used the name John.

I purchased a massage bed on EBay. It said the seller was in Florida when in fact the seller was in Russia. I wasn't at the location when the bed arrived and I could have returned it withing the return policy window, however, this was not possible. The bed in inoperable. Wont turn on and it was over $3000. No response from EBay or the seller.
