A red MICROSOFT with an alarm flashing accompanied by phone number to call. It took at least 2 hours with them calling back at intervals to go through a process that ended with the purchase of a firewall setup

I was on my computer when a message came up on the screen telling me my computer had been infected with malware infection and i need to contact Microsoft and had this number to call 1-844-387-0777. I called the number and a man who said his name was Kevin Lee answered and asked me what i was doing on the computer when the message came up. I told him i was on Google chrome. He then asked to have control of computer remotely. Assuming he was from Microsoft technical support I said yes. He the brought up a bunch of things on my computer that was showing that there was 45 users on my internet ip address. Then showed me my passwords all saved on my computer. Then said he could help me if i would agree to pay for a nother tech support company to clean up the malware and then install there 7 layer protection program on my computer. Easy net Experts is the company and They charged me $399.99 on my bank account. I tried to call the number back today and it took 3 times to get through to a person who then hung up on me. Thats when i started doing some research and found that it was a scam. I called my bank and cancelled my card and reported the charges as a scam. I have not used my computer but for one small thing. Then turned it off.
