I received a robo call voice mail on my home phone that they my name, first, middle initial and last name that sounded like an inserted message. Message stated they are a debt collection agency & left a number. I knew I didn't have anything that required collections. Typically these notices are sent via mail. I called back the number. The person who answers would not tell me their name, the company they are representing nor on whose behalf they are calling for. I asked repeatedly got the same reply, they tried to get my date of birth & I told the person he was a P.O.S. for trying to scam people out of their personal information. I never answer calls of numbers I don't know, nor return them. For some reason I did on this one. I called the local police dept & all they told me was to never answer calls from numbers you don't know since they can access your information from your phone.

Hoping that people who might be more vulnerable (such as the elderly) don't get taken advantage of. That happened to our great aunt & my father-in-law spent months trying to fix the damage.

Susan Mullins called my cell phone on 12/6/2018 from 904-267-1322, she left a (voicemail message) saying I was involved in legal allegations that were being filed against me, if I did not return the call I would forfeit my rights and would be served at home or my place of business and I have officially been notified. The number she left for call back was 716-398-4123, which is not even a Florida area code. I reversed this number through 411.com and it shows this number as being at moderate to high risk for scams. This female who stated her name as Susan Mullins never provided a company name or law firm she was calling from. Futher more, I dont have any legal issues.

They called to tell me my computer was sending them a report of errors. They wanted to log onto my computer to fix. I think this is a scam because my computer was not on at the time.

Person wanted to loan us $10,000

I received a credit card with no bank issuing it. I call the number of the back of the card and they refuse to tell me any information (even what bank issued the card) unless I provide them with an insane amount of personal info.

They also asked me for personal information such as my phone company, phone number, etc. This really smells like a scam designed to rip information from consumers and steal their identity.
