We ordered a Serta Pillow-Top mattress on 8/28/2022 and we were given multiple delivery dates by their outside source XPO Logistics for delivery. Our first scheduled delivery was for Saturday, Sept. 3rd between 9:30am to 1:30pm. After the delivery time had passed, we phoned XPO Logistics customer service to inquire about the scheduled delivery, they had no information at all. After this call, we spoke with Paul, at Dealbeds.com on Monday, September, 5th, Labor Day, and he seemed to be remorseful about our concerns and conveyed to us that if we gave him an opportunity to solve this problem, then he would make sure that our delivery would arrive without any hassle. But he also reassured us that if there are anymore hiccups then he would cancel without any additional charges. Because he stated that we will be charged $299 for canceling. However, we didn't cancel because services were never rendered. Albeit, we received a link from XPO Logistics on Tuesday, September 6th and we rescheduled for Thursday, September 8th. Not even 15 minutes later, we received another text saying that we need to schedule our delivery. Afterwards, I called XPO Logistics to confirm that our delivery date was scheduled for Thursday and they could not confirm a time for the delivery which mirrored the events for our Saturday delivery. This gave me pause about the delivery being legitimate. Subsequently, we called Paul again at Dealbeds.com to cancel our order and he was relentless that we would be charged a return fee for the items that we never received if we canceled. We never received the item primarily for it to be a returned fee. The communication between these two companies were at-best non-existent. We called our bank when we realized that we would be charged not only for the $1207 for a mattress, but an additional $299 charge for cancelling services that were never rendered. In turn, we immediately notified our bank to cancel our credit card and to report this fraudulent activity.
