British Shorthair Bella Cats Reports & Reviews (2)

I was wanting to purchase a kitten through a breeder and came across this website. The kittens were adorable and priced at $600. I found a kitten I really wanted named Sylvie and contacted the seller. They contacted me a bit later and asked questions about myself to see if the kitten would be a good fit. I answered the questions they sent me. Awhile later another email was sent to me saying I was a good fit. Then comes the payment options. I went through Zelle and I could only provide $400 because my bank had a limit. I then sent the remaining money ($245) to his wife through Venmo. I wanted the kitten delivered to my doorstep so I wanted to pay that $45. They told me they would be shipping the kitten. I got an email from a "company" called Trans Fastway Delivery saying that I needed to buy a Thermal crate for this kitten due to weather. So the amount was $890, 100% refundable when kitten was delivered to my doorstep in cash or check. So I paid the amount through venmo. I get another email the next day saying that the kitten would need pet insurance to ensure safe travels. IT WAS $1,500-$1,600! NOPE. I knew this was a scam as soon as I saw that amount. Why would I pay more for a kitten that isn't even in my possession. I called up that customer service number and they never responded to my 10 calls and voicemail. So I contacted the breeder and they haven't responded either (so far I have 54+ emails back and forth about this kitten until now). It's funny how fast they would respond when money is involved. I contacted Venmo, Zelle, my bank and the police about this scam. Hopefully I'll get my money back one way or another. Be aware of the name Demarcus Quinney ([email protected]) on Zelle, @ Eileen8589 on Venmo and Thomas Vigrass (@grass8916) on Venmo (Trans Fastway Delivery).

I searched for a British shorthair cat and came across this company that seemed very legit. I emailed them about a particular cat and was very excited by their fast response. To my surprise, it was, in fact, a SCAM. They texted to confirm if I had received an email about the kitten. All communication ended after answering the person's questions ( name, address) and sending $645 to secure the cat via Zelle ( Shipping included). I asked to video chat, and no response. They informed me that they have to register the kitten for shipping and will have the company send tracking information shortly after. After a few days and no response, I was pretty sure it was a scam. I asked my close friend to go on their website and purchase the same kitten ( he was still showing as available on their site). She requested the same cat, and they told her he was still open and walked her through the same process to purchase. This is extremely cruel! BE AWARE. The person's name is DEMARCUS QUINNEY, to who I sent the Zelle info, and I'm sure have been communicating via email and text. The company is Bella British shorthair cats & kittens.
